World Class State of Art Children Hospital at Tirupati Soon on Donation Basis - TTD Chairman

Tirumala, 12 Mar. 21: TTD is planning to establish a State of the Art Paediatric Super Speciality Hospital in collaboration with Mumbai based Udveg Infrastructure and Consultancy Pvt Ltd. (UIC) who has come forward to take up the project on donation basis.

 

TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy and UIC CEO and MD Sri Sanjay K Singh inked the landmark MoU in the presence of TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy to set up the state of art paediatric hospital in the pilgrim city of Tirupati.

 

Speaking on the occasion at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala, the TTD Chairman said the venture was part of AP CM Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s vision after bifurcation of united AP to set up super speciality Children’s' Hospitals at Tirupati, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam which led to TTD board resolve for same.

 

TTD EO said the TTD will soon conduct Bhumi puja for the new children’s hospital which will be part of SVIMS super speciality and the UIC apart from bearing the entire construction cost of Rs.300crore, will take up the operational management also for a few years.  

 

The UIC CEO and MD Sri Sanjay Singh said it was a great privilege to collaborate with world renowned Hindu religious organization like TTD and commence a noble project meant for health care of children at the lotus feet of Sri Venkateswara.

 

Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, TTD FA&CAO Sri O Balaji, CE Sri Ramesh Reddy, SVIMS Director Dr Vengamma, CMO Dr Narmada and others were present.

Covid Vaccination for TTD Employees Begins

Tirumala, 4 Mar. 21: Under the directions of TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy, TTD has commenced Covid vaccination for its employees at Tirumala on Thursday. 

 

Initially, the employees who are discharging duties at pilgrim proximity areas including Srivari temple, Reception, Waterworks, Health wing and Vigilance wing will be administered vaccine jabs. The District Health Department had provided 50 vials of vaccine, which is adequate to serve 550 persons.

 

In the second phase, those who have crossed 45 years of age and suffering from Hypertension, Diabetes and other chronic diseases will be administered the vaccine.

 

All employees wanting vaccination should register themselves at the Aswini hospital with their Aadhaar or PAN cards and also sign on consent letters. After the first dose of vaccination, the second dose will be served after 28 days.

 

All hospital staff including doctors, nurses, and para medics were served Covid vaccines on Thursday morning. Aswini Medical Superintendent Dr Kusuma Kumari and other hospital staffs were present.

The employees including specially-abled, kin of the employees also took part in enthusiastically. 

 

Games like Chess, Hitting the Indian Club, lemon and spoon, Musical Chairs were conducted. Participants took part with fun and jubilation

Tirupati, 2 Mar. 21: TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy on Tuesday inspected the central hospital and made several valuable suggestions on services to the employees.

 

He went around the OP rooms, blood banks, Pharmacy, Medicines stock rooms and directed officials to extend timely services and medicines to patients. He also interacted with some patients and enquired about services enjoyed by them.

 

TTD SE Sri Jagadeswar Reddy, CMO Dr Narmada, MSO Dr Muralidhar and others were present.
