TTD Education Officer Dr Bhaskar Reddy has stated that online applications are invited from eligible students for admissions to Sri Padmavathi Mahila Junior College and Sri Venkateswara Junior College in Tirupati for the academic year 2024-25.
A training program on personality development was held to the TTD senior officers at SVETA on Thursday in Tirupati.
The expert speaker grabbed the attention of all with live interaction with interesting slides through PowerPoint presentation.
Earlier SVETA Director Sri Bhumana Subramanyam Reddy said that in the coming days, training programs will also be conducted on cyber crimes, social media misinformation etc. He said that especially the health problems of priests and drivers will be studied and awareness programs will be organized for them too. He said that such training programs are very useful for TTD employees.
DyEOs Sri Govindarajan, Sri Devendra Babu, Smt Snehalata recalled the great works of Phule in many fields.
They said, his contributions included getting rid of untouchability and the caste system, encouraging women education and pioneered the same by making his wife Savitribai Phule to become the first teacher in India.
Later a few TTD employees also expressed their views on the impeccable efforts made by Mahatma Phule who formed the Satyashodhak Samaj (Society of Truth Seekers) with a goal to get equal rights for people from lower castes. It worked for the betterment of the oppressed classes. Mahatma Phule stood as inspiration to many other social reformers in the country including the Architect of Indian Constitution Dr BR Ambedkar.
According to Ananda Shankar Jayant, the curator of Ramayana Kalpavrksam ' The festival has been a grand success, with full house and standing ovations. The festival received blessings from Gurus, Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, who inaugurated the festival on 29th March. Revered spiritual gurus have also blessed this festival by sending their video messages of blessings. Daaji and Sharadapeetham, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha MahaswamiVaaru, Jagadguru Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati MahaswamiVaaru, Shri Shataavadhani Brahmashri Lalitaditya Garu sent a beautiful message. Their video messages were played. The morning workshop sessions too were well attended.
Many well-known artists, bureaucrats and industry leaders attended the 3-day festival and expressed that such multi arts festivals are much needed, to bring together our arts and knowledge together.
