Vengamamba Jayanthi Observed

I










n connection with the 292nd Jayanthi of Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba, Unjal Seva of Sri Malayappa Swamy and His Consorts took place in Narayanagiri Gardens on Sunday evening.

 

In his Anugraha Bhashanam, the Visakha Sarada Peetham Seer Sri Swarupannda Maha Saraswati Swamy said following the impeccable literary contributions made by Vengamamba, he adviced TTD to set up an exclusive Project on her dedication which today grew into many folds

 

He said, Vengamamba was a blessed soul. Even after her demise, she settled in the sacred abode as her Brindavanam was in Tirumala.

 

The Pontiff complimented TTD officials for observing the fete with celestial grandeur every year.

 

Earlier the Annamacharya Project artists and SV College of Music and Dance artists presented the Sankeertans penned by Vengamamba in Yakshagana Style including Gana Nayaka Saranu...

Later the Seer released the Third Volume of Vengamamba book penned by Dr KJ Krishna Murty.

 

The Swamiji was presented with Vastram later felicitated TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy on the occasion 

Uttaradhikari Sri Swatmanada Saraswati, Annamacharya Project Director Dr Vibhishana Sharma, All Projects Program Officer Sri Vijayasaradhi and others were present.

Ankurarpanam Held


Ankurarpana for annual Pushpayagam was held at Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple on Sunday evening.

 

The floral ritual will be observed between 10am and 12noon on Monday in the temple. Gruhastas shall take part on payment of Rs. 200 per ticket for which two persons will be allowed.

 

Deputy EO Sri Devendrababu, AEO Sri Srinivasulu, Superintendent Sri Bhupati, temple inspector Sri Reddy Sekhar were also present.

 

TTD Eo Invites Seer for Maha Samprokshanam of Odisha Temple





TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy on Sunday invited the Pontiff of Visakha Sarada Peetham, Sri Swarupanandendra Saraswathi Swamy for the Mahasamprokshanam event of Sri Venkateswara temple in the state of Orissa from May 21 to 26.

 

He formally met the Swamiji at the latter's Mutt near Gogarbham dam at Tirumala and explained to him about the series of rituals on each day.

 

DyEO General Sri Ramana Prasad was also present.

 

Visakha Seer Offers Prayers at Tiruchanoor





Visakha Sarada Peethadhipathi Sri Swarupanandendra Saraswati Swamy offered prayers along with Uttaradhikari Sri Swatmananda Saraswati Swamy at Tiruchanoor temple on Sunday.

 

Speaking on the occasion he said every year before he leaves for Rishikesh to perform Deeksha for three months, he takes the blessings of Swamy and Ammavaru.

Vaisakha Pournami Garuda Seva will be observed in Tirumala on May 16 between 7pm and 9pm.

 

Sri Malayappa will take celestial ride on Garuda Vahanam along four mada streets and bless His devotees.

Annual Vasanthotsavams commenced on a grand religious note in Tiruchanoor on Sunday.

 

Snapana Tirumanjanam was observed to the processional deity of Goddess Padmavati Devi at Friday Gardens.

The teaser boasts breathtaking visuals by 'Sujith Vasudev’ and adrenaline-pumping action by ‘ Vijay’ & 'Anbariv' fight masters. The massy teaser implies that the cop is on his way to confront anti-social elements. The Warriorr team gave ustaad RAPO fans a weekend treat.

The Warriorr starring Ram Pothineni is among the eagerly expected movies for many reasons. For, the young Telugu actor has partnered with ace director N Lingusamy for the first time and this film, a bilingual, will mark Ram's debut in Kollywood. 

Also, it will show Aadhi Pinisetty in a hitherto unseen role of a strong villain. 
It is to be noted Lingusamy is known for his action entertainers. The film has a stellar star cast with Krithi Shetty as the heroine (her name is Whistle Mahalakshmi).

The Ankurarpana for annual Vasanthotsavams held at Tiruchanoor temple on Saturday evening.

 

The three-day annual spring festival will be observed from May 15 till May 17.

 

Every day there will be Snapana Tirumanjanam to Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru.

 

In the Beejavapanam ritual, JEO (H & E) Smt Sada Bhargavi, DyEO Sri Lokanatham, AEO Sri Prabhakar Reddy, Archaka Sri Babu Swamy, Superintendent Smt Srivani, temple Inspector Sri Damodaram and others were present.

 

Odisha CM Invited For Maha Samprokshanam of Sri Venkateswara Swamy Vari Temple at Bhuvaneshwar






TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy on Saturday invited the Honourable CM of Odisha Sri Naveen Patnaik for the Maha Samprokshanam of Sri Venkateswara temple at Bhuvaneshwar scheduled from May 21 to 26.

 

 

He formally met the CM of Odisha at his residence on Saturday evening and explained him about the various rituals including Vigraha Pratista, Avahana Prana Pratistha, Maha Samprokshanam and others.

 

TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, CVSO Sri Narasimha Kishore, CE Sri Nageswara Rao, VGO Sri Manohar, LAC Chief Sri Dushyant Kumar and others were also present.

 

The Chairman also inspected the ongoing arrangements in Bhuvaneshwar. He also interacted with Srivari sevaks.

TTD JEo Offers Silks to Gangamma







TTD JEO for Health and Education Smt Sada Bhargavi offered Pattu Sare to folk Goddess Gangamma in Tirupati on Saturday evening on behalf of TTD as a part of ongoing Jatara.

 

The sare procession commenced at Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple and she was welcomed by the Gangamma Gudi board authorities.

 

The tradition of presenting silks to Goddess Gangamma who is revered as sister of Venkateswara Swamy has been under vogue since several decades.

 

Local legislator Sri B Karunakar Reddy, Mayor Dr Sireesha, Deputy Mayors Sri Abhinay Reddy, Sri Narayana, Gangamma Gudi Chairman Sri Gopi Yadav, EO Sri Muni Krishna, DyEOs of local temples of TTD Sri Lokanatham, Sri Devendrababu, EE Sri Manoharam and others were also present.

 

AP Guv Offerrs Prayers













The Honourable Governor of Andhra Pradesh Sri Biswabhushan Harichandan offered prayers along with his family at Tirumala temple on Saturday evening.

 

Earlier on his arrival at Mahadwaram, he was offered a traditional Isthikaphal welcome by pundits and received by TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy to the temple.

 

After darshan of Srivaru he was rendered Vedaseervachanam at Ranganayakula Mandapam and presented with Theertha Prasadams.

 

Honourable Deputy CM of AP Sri Narayana Swamy was also present.

 

Among others, Deputy EOs Sri Ramesh Babu, Sri Harindranath, RDO Sri Kanakanarasa Reddy, VGO Sri Bali Reddy were also present.
