Ugadi Fete Observed in all Local Temples of TTD










Ugadi festival was observed with religious fervour in all TTD local temples on Wednesday.


In Tiruchanoor, Tirupati Govindaraja Swamy and Kodandarama temples, Srinivasa Mangapuram and outside temples Asthanam, Panchanga Shravanam were rendered and Ugadi Pachchadi distributed to devotees.


Ugadi Fete Celebrated with Fervour in Mahati








Sri Sobhakruta Nama Ugadi festivities were observed with utmost spiritual fervour and gaiety by TTD in Mahati Auditorium on Wednesday under the aegis of HDPP and Welfare wings of TTD.

 

Dr Vedantam Vishnu Bhattacharyulu, the professor of National Sanskrit University rendered Panchanga Shravanam followed by Astavadhanam by renowned scholar Sri Amudala Murali which stood as the special attraction of the programme. 


Later the prizes were given away to the winners of Ugadi Competitions which included the employees as well their children. The fancy dress by the children of employees was also held on the occasion. Finally Ugadi Pachchadi was distributed to all those who participated in the Ugadi festivities held at Mahati. 


Chief Audit Officer Sri Sesha Sailendra, Welfare Officer Smt Snehalatha, All Dharmic Projects Officer Smt Vijayalakshmi, Archaka Training Co-ordinator Sri Hemanth Kumar, employees, denizens also participated.


Simha Vahana Seva Held








On the third day morning, Simha Vahana Seva was held in Sri Kodandaramalayam as a part of the ongoing annual brahmotsavams.


The bright sunny day on Wednesday witnessed Sri Ramachandra Murthy seated on the ferocious King of the Jungle and took out a celestial ride along four mada streets to bless the devotees converged on streets to catch a glimpse of the dazzling deity on the Simha Vahana.


Deputy EO Smt Nagaratna, AEO Sri Mohan and other temple officials, devotees were present.


TTD Releases Budget for ₹ 4411 Cr for the Year 2023-24

 TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy along with TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy released annual budget for the financial year 2023-24 at Rs. 4411.68 crores.


During the media conference held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Wednesday, the Chairman extending Telugu Ugadi greetings to devotees said that the TTD board has approved for Ra. 4411.68crores.


The Chairman said due to the MLC elections code, the outcome of the proceedings during the TTD Trust Board meeting held on February 15 were not disclosed to media. He briefed on the various development activities approved by TTD board.


Post Covid the revenue of Hundi has increased in an incredible manner and during last year the Hundi collections stood at around 1500 crores as against Rs.1200 crores before Covid.


Similarly, the virtual sevas during Covid period and also the interests on bank deposits post covid have impacted on the revenue collections,  he opinioned.


He said the Honourable CM of AP Sri YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will inaugurate the Srinivasa Setu after the final phase of works which are almost nearing completion.


On April 5, in connection with the state festival of Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam, the Honourable CM will present silk vastrams on behalf of the State Government.


Nod given to lay road between Alipiri to Vakulamata temple


Among others he said the as the summer pilgrim rush is set to increase in April, May and June, the VIPs are requested to reduce their referrals and enable more common pilgrims to have darshan.


The Chairman said the VIP break darshan timings will continue as such since over 95% of common pilgrims had given thumbs up to the existing method which has drastically reduced the waiting hours of darshan for general devotees and also decreased the pressure on accommodation."We are also contemplating to reduce the SRIVANI tickets during these three months to enable more darshan time for common pilgrims", he said.

30 more additional counters in Laddu Complex at Rs. 5.25cr to avoid delay of distribution of laddus in Laddu Complex.


Rs. 4.70 crores towards the construction of Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple at Ulundurpeta in Tamilnadu.


Towards the development of SGS Arts College in Tirupati at Rs. 4.71 crores. The works includes the modernisation of the Library, Third Floor, Indoor Sports Complex, etc. for which tenders are called for


The employees of SLSMPC are also given ID cards and laddu cards on subsidy along with darshan for their families


JEO for Health and Education Smt Sada Bhargavi, SE2 Sri Jagadeeshwar Reddy were also present.





Shobhakruta Ugadi Asthanam Held

















Sri Shobhakruta Nama Ugadi Asthanam was held with spiritual fervour in Tirumala temple on Wednesday.


After the processional deities of Sri Malayappa, Sridevi and Bhudevi along with Sri Vishwaksena were seated facing Garudalwar at Bangaru Vakili and Asthanam was performed.

Later new vastrams were offered to the deities on the auspicious occasion of Ugadi followed by rendition of Panchanga Shravanam.


HH Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy and HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy of Tirumala, TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy, EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, board members Sri Ramulu, Sri Maruti Prasad, Sri Ashok Kumar, JEO for H&E Smt Sada Bhargavi, SE 2 Sri Jagadeeshwar Reddy, Temple DyEO Sri Ramesh Babu, Peishkar Sri Srihari, VGO Sri Bali Reddy and others officials, staffs were present.


FLORAL DECORATIONS ATTRACTS DEVOTEES'


The special floral decorations made by TTD inside and outside Tirumala temple matching the auspicious occasion of Telugu Ugadi were admired by the visiting pilgrims a lot. Several floral donors from across the country contributed to make attractive decorations. About 150 workers strived for three days and nights to bring out beautiful carvings and decorations under the supervision of TTD Garden Deputy Director Sri Srinivasulu and his team.

Among the donors, Sri Govinda Mandot of Pune contributed for the decorations inside the Temple, while Sri Arun from Bengaluru for the unique swinging diorama with the theme of "Gajendra Moksham", which is attempted by TTD for the first time, stood as a special attraction. 


The other artistic decorations including the deities of Kruta, Treta and Dwapara yugas were donated by Sri Sekhar of Tiruppur, and the decorations outside the temple were donated by Sri Chandrasekhar and Sri Balasubramaniyam of Salem.


The decorators from Shimoga carved Dasavatarams on dry coconuts, Srilankan Mandala Art with coconut flowers for Dhwajasthambham, Srinivasa Kalyanam in Watermelon, Navadhanya Narasimha Swamy also garnered the attention of devotees.


Mutyapupandiri Vahana Seva








On the third day evening, Sri Kodandarama Rama accompanied by Sita Devi and Lakshmana Swamy took out a celestial ride on Mutyapupandiri Vahanam on Wednesday.


The annual brahmotsavams witnessed pearl carrier seva.


Both the senior and junior pontiffs of Tirumala, DyEO Smt Nagaratna, AEO Sri Mohan and other staffs, devotees were present.

Ugadi Festivites By TTD in Mahati Auditorium



TTD will observe Sri Shobhakrut Nama Samvastsara Telugu Ugadi festivities in Mahati Auditorium in Tirupati on March 22 which commences at 9:30am.


As part of this, there will be Mangala Dhwani with which the programme commences followed by Veda Parayanam by Pundits. National Sanskrit Varsity Professor and Agama Advisor for TTD Dr Vedantam Vishnu Bhattacharya will render Panchanga Shravanam.


This will be followed by the "Asta Avadhāna" a famous a linguistic literary technique which is unique to Telugu" by renowned Telugu scholar Dr Amudala Murali of Tirupati.


Later the cultural programmes, traditional fancy dress with the children of TTD employees, distribution of Ugadi Pacchadi will also be executed.

Chinna Sesha Vahana Seva Took Place








On the second day morning of the ongoing annual brahmotsavams in Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple, Chinna Sesha Vahana seva held in Tirupati on Tuesday.

 

Sri Kodandarama Swamy  seated on the five hooded Serpent carrier to bless the devotees who converged all along the Mada streets.

 

Both the Senior and Junior Pontiffs of Tirumala, DyEO Smt Nagaratna, VGO Sri Manohar, AEO Sri Mohan, Superintendent Sri Ramesh, Kankanabhattar Sri Anandakumara Deekshitulu, temple officials, devotees participated.

Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam Held with Religious Fervour











The traditional temple cleansing ritual, Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam was observed with spiritual fervour in Tirumala temple on Tuesday.

 

Speaking on the occasion, the TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy said, Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam was an ancient ritual which is usually observed four times in a year before Vaikuntha Ekadasi, annual brahmotsavam, Anivara Asthanam and Telugu Ugadi.

 

"The entire temple including roofs, walls, pooja utensils, sub shrines are cleansed thoroughly by applying an aromatic mixture made out of disinfectant herbs called ''Parimalam'' which was bequeathed by our sages", he added.

 

After the cleansing fete, devotees are allowed for Darshan.

 

Sri Shobhakrut Nama Ugadi Asthanam will be ovserved in Tirumala temple on March 22 between 7am and 9am.

 

Trust Board members Sri Maruti Prasad, Sri Madhusudhan Yadav, Sri Ramulu, Temple Peishkar Sri Sriramulu, VGO Sri Bali Reddy and others were present.
