Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam Held







The Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam in connection with both Maha Samprokshanam of Vimana Gopuram and ensuing annual brahmotsavams was held in Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati on Thursday.

 

The religious Samprokshanam fete for gold plated Vimana Gopuram will be observed between May 20 to 25. 

 

Parimalam mixture was smeared on the walls, roofs and applied to the pillars as a part of the event between 6.30am and 8.30am.

 

Meanwhile the annual brahmotsavams are acheduled between May 26 to June 3 with Ankurarpanam on May 25.

Three massive screens for the temple doors were donated by Tirupati based Sri Mani.

 

Temple staff including AEO Sri Ravi Kumar and others were also present.

 

TTD Eo Presents Vastrams to Anjanadri Anjaneya







On the last day of Sri Hanuman Jayanti on Thursday, TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy presented Pattu Vastrams to Sri Anjanadevi sameta Sri Balanjaneya Swami at Anjanadri Akashaganga.

 

Special Abhishekam to deities and Chakra  Snanam to Sri Sudarshan Chakrathalwar  was performed on the occasion.

 

TTD Vaikhanasa Agama Adviser Sri Mohana Rangacharyulu, Srivari temple Peishkar Sri Srihari and Parupattedar Sri Tulasi Prasad were also present.

Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple Samprokshanam from 21st to 25th May



TTD is organising a grand Maha Samprokshana of Sri Govindarajaswami temple from May 21-25 with Ankurarpanam on May 20.


This cleansing ritual as per agamas will be observed in connection with the completion of the gold plating works of the temple Vimana Gopuram which commenced on September 14 in 2021.


On May 21, the Punyahavachanam, Raksha Bandhanam will be performed in the morning at the Yagashala followed by Srivari Kalakarshanam in the evening. Other Vaidika programs will be performed at Yagashala both morning and evening on May 22 and 23.


On May 24 morning the rituals including Jaladivasam, Bimbasthapana and in the evening Maha Shanti Thirumanjanam and other yagashala programs will be held.


On May 25 the Kumbharadhana, Nivedana, Homas, Maha  Purnahuti, and Maha Samprokshanam rituals will be performed in the auspicious Mithuna lagnam between 7.45 am and 9.15 am.


Thereafter Akshatarohanam, Archaka bahumanam will be held and devotees will be allowed for Darshan from 10.30am onwards. In the evening the Pedda Sesha vahana Seva is performed on the temple Mada streets to bless devotees.

 

Hanuman Jayanti Festivities Concludes in Tirumala




    

The five-day Hanuman Jayanti festivities concluded on a grand religious note in Tirumala.


On the last day in Nada Neerajanam, Pushpagiri Peethadhipathi from Hyderabad Sri Vidyasankara Bharati Swamy in his religious discourse described Hanuman as a "Task Achiever" and stood as a role model to many. "Wherever Ramanama is worshipped, there Hanuma will appear and protect His devotees", he maintained.


Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham scholar Sri Maruti, Annamacharya Project Director Sri Vibhishana Sharma and others were also present.


At Anjanadri Balanjaneya temple in Akasaganga, the devotional programmes by TTD attracted the devotees.

 

TTD JEo Reviews on Narayanavanam Brahmotsavams









In connection with annual brahmotsavams in Narayanavanam temple from ...TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam held inspection in the temple on Thursday along with the officials concerned.


The annual nine day festival will commence on May 31 with Ankurarpanam on May 30 and conclude on June 8 with important days including Garuda Seva on May 4, Rathotsavam and Kalyanam on June 7 and Chakra Snanam on June 8. 


During the review meeting held in the temple premises with the officials of various departments, the JEO instructed them to make elaborate arrangements especially to develop gardens and ambience all along the Pushkarini. He also instructed the electrical department officials to make attractive illumination and the concern department to make floral decorations in a befitting manner.


The JEO also reviewed on the civil works, medical, security arrangements etc. He later instructed to arrange devotional cultural programmes in an attractive way all through the annual festival.


SEs Sri Satyanarayana, Sri Venkateswarulu, DyEO Smt Nagaratna, EE Sri Manoharam, GM Transport Sri Sesha Reddy, DFO Sri Srinivasulu, DPP Secretary Sri Srinivasulu, and others were also present.

 

Maha Samprokshanam Rituals Commences





The Maha Samprokshanam rituals commenced on a grand religious note in Rampachodavaram in Alluri Seetaramaraju district on Thursday.


Panchagavyaprasana, Vastu-Akalmasha-Prayaschitta Homams, Raksha Bandhanam were conducted between 8am and 11am.


In the evening Agni Pratista, Kumbha Sthapana, Kumbharadhana will be performed.


TTD Annamacharya Project artists performed devotional cultural programs.


DyEOs Sri Gunabhushan Reddy, Sri Siva Prasad, Sri Venkataiah and others were also present.

Ankurarpanam Held at Rampachodavaram





Ankurarpanam was held on Wednesday evening at Rampachodavaram in Alluri Seetarama Raju district in connection with Maha Samprokshanam festivities in the Srivari temple.


On May 22, the Maha Samprokshanam will be observed between 9am and 9,30am in the auspicious Mithuna Lagnam followed by darshan to devotees from 10am onwards. On the same day evening, Srivari Kalyanam will be observed.


DyEOs Sri Gunabhushan Reddy, Sri Venkataiah, Sri Siva Prasad, DyEE Sri Ananda Ram were also present. While the rituals were being carried out under the supervision one of the chief priests of Tirumala temple Sri Venugopala Deekshitulu.

Hanuman's Brillinace InChaturveda Is Peerless - Tridandi Ahobila Seer





The brilliance of Hanuman in Chaturvedas was peerless and his knowledge was incomparable said Sri Ahobila Tridandi Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamiji.


On the fourth day evening as part of the five day Hanuman Jayanti festivities in Nada Neerajanam platform in Tirumala on Wednesday, the seer in his Anugraha Bhashanam said, Anjana Devi, the mother of Hanuman performed penance in Anjanadri Tirumala and given birth to Anjaneya and there are many puranic references to prove that Anjanadri is the birth place of Anjaneya, he reiterated.


The devotional cultural programmes organised at Akasa Ganga and Japali by TTD allured the devotees.


Annamacharya Project Director Dr Vibhishana Sharma was also present.

TTD JEo Reviews Maha Samprokshanam of Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple





As the Maha Samprokshanam for the gold malam of Vimana Gopuram in Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple are scheduled between May 21-25 followed by annual brahmotsavams from May 26 onwards till June 3, TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam reviewed the ongoing arrangements for both the events with the officials concerned.


The meeting was held in the chamber of the JEO on Wednesday evening in TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati. The officials of Sri GT said in connection with the Maha Samprokshanam, Unjal seva has been cancelled from May 20-25 in the temple. 


Later the JEO instructed the concerned of the respective departments to make elaborate arrangements of floral and electrical decorations for the mega annual festival, identifying Harati points all along the mada streets,  proper security, services by Srivari Sevaks etc, Annaprasadam and water distribution, dharmic and devotional cultural programs etc.


FACAO Sri Balaji, CE Sri Nageswara Rao, SE Electrical Sri Venkateswarulu, DyEOs Smt Shanti, Sri Govindarajan, EE Sri Manoharam, VGO Sri Manohar, Additional Health Officer Dr Sunil and others were also present.

Srivari Arjita Seva Tickets Schedule



For the convenience of the pilgrims, TTD has released the Arjitha Seva tickets schedule. Henceforth all the online services for Seva, Darshan, Accommodation will be released three months in advance, that is tickets will be released every month for the third month. The details of the release dates as follows:


Dip Registration for Arjitha Sevas Viz.Suprabhatam, Tomala, Archana and Astadala Pada Padmaradhana will be available every month from 18 to 20. If the ticket gets confirmed to the pilgrim in the lucky dip the payment interface will be enabled from 20-22 every month. 


Arjita sevas like Kalyanotsavam, Arjita Brahmotsavam, Unjal Seva and Sahasra Deepalankara Sevas will be available for booking on first come first serve basis online on 21st of every month along with Virtual Sevas.


SRIVANI, Angapradakshinam, Senior Citizens and Physically Challenged darshan quota will be released on 23rd of every month while Rs.300 Special Entry Darshan on 24th of every month. 


The online Accommodation quota for Tirupati will be released on 25th while that of Tirumala on 26th of every month.


If any seva or darshan dates falls on Sundays, then that particular service will be postponed to the next day and all other services also moves to the succeeding date.

  

Book Released



A book titled  "Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Danapatralu" was released by TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy at Sri Padmavathi Rest House in Tirupati on Wednesday.


The book was penned by SVBC Chairman Dr Saikrishna Yachendra and TTD Chief Museum Officer Dr Nagolu Krishna Reddy which included the 33 manuscripts related to the various donations made by various donors hailing from Chittoor, Tamilnadu, Karnataka etc.


With these donations comprising of kind and cash, Vengamamba did observe Narasimha Jayanti every year in Tirumala. Many such interesting details are compiled in this book.


JEOs Smt Sada Bhargavi, Sri Veerabrahmam were also present.

  

Sudha Tirumala - Sundara Tirumala A Grand Success With The TTD Employees






The innovative and unique mass cleansing programme taken up by TTD to protect the environs of Tirumala with its employees, the Suddha Tirumala-Sundara Tirumala has been a huge success and the TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy lauded the strong workforce of TTD for having participated in this cleaning mission with enthusiasm setting an example to other organisations.


During the senior officer's review meeting held at Sri Padmavathi Rest House in Tirupati on Wednesday, the EO said in the next step, the shops, hotels, taxi drivers and RTC should also be involved to bring awareness on eradicating the usage of plastic in Tirumala. "For this take the help of Police, APSRTC officers also to avoid plastic in both the Ghats and footpath routes and arrange the dust bins in all the routes to Tirumala, he directed the Health department officials. 


He also reviewed on the progress of construction works of the SP Children's Heart Centre, Cafeteria in BIRRD etc. and learnt from the officials concerned about the status of Dhyana Mandiram in SV Vedic University. "Conduct Kriya Yoga, Meditation classes in this building and instructed the SVBC officials to design programs that showcase the importance of Veda Vignanam on human lifestyle. "Similarly prepare short videos on the great quotes by our Sages and renowned personalities and propagate them via our social media network", he suggested. The EO later reviewed the Manuscripts Project and the removal of the Acacia plantation in the Tirumala forests.

Parayanams Enhances Dharmic Values in the Society - Kanchi Kamakoti Peethadhipati












Hailing the decision of TTD for having started the Parayanams in Tirumala, the Kanchikamakoti Peethadhipathi Sri Sri Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi Mahaswamy said, the recitation of various epics will enhance Dharmic values in the society.

 

The Pontiff graced the Ayodhyakanda Parayanam commencing event held at Nada Neerajanam in Tirumala on Wednesday along with the TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy. 

 

In his message on the occasion, the Pontiff said, epics Ramayana and Maha Bharata are eternal guides to the human race to lead a righteous and pious life. "It is heartening to note that the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has commenced this noble mission of Parayana Yagnam since the Covid Pandemic to protect the entire humanity from the evil virus and is successfully taking forward the spiritual programme from the past three years. I appreciate the zeal of the Executive Officer Sri AV Dharma Reddy to give the essence of our epics to the world through these Parayanams", he said.

 

The Pontiff also said, each and every character in Ramayana teaches the value of a pious relationship in Dasaratha as an icon for Father's love, Sri Rama as a true son, Sita as a responsible wife, Lakshmana and Bharata showcase the sibling love, Hanuman as a noble servant to his master and many more. "This is the reason why Srimad Ramayana and Maha Bharata are immortal even after several aeons. And they will remain perennial for generations to come", he asserted.

 

Earlier Sri AV Dharma Reddy in his words of introduction about the programme said, after successfully completing Sundarakanda, Balakanda now TTD has commenced Ayodhyayakanda which has over 4000 Shlokas. 

 

SV Vedic University Vice Chancellor, Sri Rani Sadasiva Murthy, National Sanskrit University Professor Sri Kuppa Vishwanatha Sharma, Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham Principal Sri KSS Avadhani also spoke on the occasion.

 

Before the commencement of Parayanam, Dr Balakrishna Prasad, the Asthana Vidhwan of TTD and his team rendered "Saranu Saranu Neeku .. Jagadeka Vandita" Annamachaya Sankeertan in a melodious manner.

 

Renowned scholars of Dharmagiri, Sri Ramanujacharyulu will  narrate the importance of each Sloka while Sri Ananta Venugopal will render the Sioka Parayanam for Ayodhyakanda which will be live telecasted by SVBC between 7am and 8am everyday for the sake of global devotees.

 

Annamacharya Project Director Dr Vibhishana Sharma was also present.

 

Appalayagunta Brahmotsavams





The annual Brahmotsavams in Appalayagunta will be conducted by TTD between May 31 and June 8.


Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam will be held on May 23 while Ankurarpanam on May 30. The important days includes Kalyanotsavam on June 3, Garuda Vahanam on June 4, Rathotsavam on June 7 and Chakra Snanam on June 8.


The Grihastas participating in Kalyanam have to pay Rs.500 on which two persons will be allowed. The Kalyanam will be held between 4:30pm and 7pm.


Everyday in the morning the Vahana sevas takes place between 8am and 9am while in the evening between 7pm and 8pm.


The devotional cultural programmes by HDPP, Annamacharya and Dasa Sahitya projects are arranged everyday.

Sundarakanda Sampoorna Akhanda Parayanam Held at Dharmagiri With Spiritual Fervour

The Sundarakanda Sampoorna Akhanda Parayanam commenced on a grand spiritual note amidst chanting of Vedic hymns, mangaladhwani, offering Harati to the deities in the Prayer Hall of Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham at 6am on Tuesday.


TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy took part in this 16-hour long recitation spiritual programme. Speaking on occasion, Dharmagiri Principal Sri KSS Avadhani said TTD mulled the Sampoorna Akhanda Sundarakanda Parayanam seeking the wellbeing of the entire humanity. "It took 16 hours for Hanuman to meet Seeta Devi and come back to Mahendragiri. So by reciting all the 2872 shlokas of Sundarakanda in 16hours, we will be free from all problems and sins", he maintained.


The event started with Sri Raghunath and his team from Annamacharya Project rendering Sri Hanuman Jaya Hanuman Bhajan. The entire Hall was divided into four zones and 67 scholars rendered the shlokas in rhythm on a rotation basis. In the first round 100 shlokas from Sankshepa Ramayanam was rendered followed by Sundarakanda Shlokas. 


Among the prominent scholars SV Vedic University Vice-Chancellor Sri Ranisadasiva Murty, Agama Advisor Sri Mohanarangacharyulu, Annamacharya Project Director Sri Vibhishana Sharma, Vedic scholars and students from Dharmagiri, SV Vedic University, National Sanskrit University, SV Higher Vedic Studies etc. also participated in the unique recitation programme.


Devotees also took part in this 16-hour non-stop Sampoorna Sundarakanda Parayanam with utmost devotion and dedication. The deities of Sri Bhu Sameta Srinivasasa Swamy, Sri Rukmini sameta Sri Krishna Swamy, Sri Sita, Lakshmana, Anjaneya sameta Sri Ramachandra Murthy, Sri Anjaneya each one in the four zones stood as a special attraction apart from the Homa Gundam. Ritwiks performed Yagam simultaneously with the Parayanam.


CEO SVBC Sri Shanmukh Kumar, SE 2 Sri Jagadeeshwar Reddy, Health Officer Dr Sridevi, VGO Sri Bali Reddy, Catering Special Officer Sri Shastry and others have also participated.
