Brahmotsvams at Kosuvaripalle
The annual Brahmotsavams in Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy temple at Kosuvaripalle of Tamballapalle in Annamaiah district will be observed from January 19 to 27 with Ankurarpanam on January 18.
The important days includes Dhwajarohanam on January 19, Garuda Seva and Kalyanotsavam on January 24, Radhotsavam on January 25, Vasanthotsavam and Dhwajavarohanam on January 27.

TTD Addl EO Reviews Arrangements for Radhasaptami
With just 15 days to go for the annual Radha Sapthami - Surya Jayanti festival to go, the TTD Additional Executive Officer of TTD, Sri C.H. Venkaiah Chowdary, on Thursday conducted a review meeting at Padmavathi Rest House, Tirumala, to assess the arrangements for Rathasapthami, scheduled to be held on January 25.
TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, CVSO Sri Murali Krishna, and Tirumala Additional SP Sri Ramakrishna participated in the review, focusing on security arrangements, crowd management, and other related aspects for Rathasapthami day.
Speaking on the occasion, the Additional EO said that the Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan was conducted successfully with effective coordination among all departments, and he urged officials to ensure that Rathasapthami is organized with the same spirit and excellence.
He instructed officials to coordinate closely with all the TTD departments, Vigilance & Security, and Police, to assess the expected pilgrim influx in advance and make suitable arrangements accordingly.
Special attention should be given to traffic regulation, parking, and emergency response teams, he said.
He further directed that advance plans should be prepared for comprehensive bandobast, continuous monitoring of vehicle movement on ghat roads, and clear action plans to facilitate quick evacuation of vehicles during emergencies.
The review covered arrangements related to Engineering, Annaprasadam, Sanitation, Srivari Sevaks, Medical teams, illumination and LED screens, floral decorations, cultural troupes, SVBC coverage,, publicity, social media.
Senior TTD officials, Vigilance personnel, and Police officials attended the meeting.

129th Convocation Held at Dharmagiri Veda Paeetham
The 129th Convocation of the 141-year-old Veda Vignana Peetham located at Dharma Giri in Tirumala was held in a grand way on Thursday.
On this occasion the Principal of the Veda Vijnana Peetham, Sri Kuppa Siva Subrahmanya Avadhani, stated that 146 students were trained as scholars in Vedas, Agamas, and Smartha traditions.
He expressed his aspiration that the graduates, having transformed from learners into teachers, should go on to nurture good students in the future and emphasized that while everything has an end, education has no end.
Later, 146 graduates who completed their Vedic education were presented with certificates along with Srivari silver coins.
Faculty and students, the office staff, and parents of the students participated in the programme.
Complete the New Children Hospital at the Earliest - TTD Eo
The TTD Executive Officer Sri Anil Kumar Singhal has instructed officials to expedite the completion the construction of the new building of the Sri Padmavathi Children’s Hospital, which is under construction near Alipiri.
On Thursday, the TTD EO inspected the Sri Padmavathi Children’s Heart Centre and the new hospital building under construction along with the doctors and the engineering officials.
During the inspection, the EO directed the engineering wing to make advance arrangements for medical equipment, furniture, electrical works and other essential infrastructure so that all facilities are ready by the time the building is completed.
The EO reviewed the usage plan of each floor in the G+6 hospital building meant for medical services and its administration.
The Doctors informed him that the 6th floor will be used entirely for operation theatres, while the 7th floor will be exclusively used as a helipad.
The EO suggested that images of deities be installed on hospital walls to instill devotion and confidence among patients and their attendants, and emphasized maintaining cleanliness in and around the hospital premises.
He instructed the officials concerned to complete the construction at the earliest and take steps to inaugurate the new hospital as soon as possible.
Earlier, the TTD EO inspected the Sri Padmavathi Children’s Heart Centre and interacted with staff regarding services being provided to patients through the NTR Vaidya Seva, SV Pranadana Trust schemes and offered them several suggestions with respect to online registration and related aspects.
He first inspected the pharmacy store and later interacted with children who had undergone cardiac surgeries and their attendants from Anantapur, Proddatur, Chittoor, Kakinada, Tenali, Rayachoti, Kurnool and other places and enquired about the quality of medical services, availability of free treatment and free medicines.
The attendants expressed immense satisfaction over the services being provided in the hospital.
The Hospital Director Dr N. Srinath Reddy informed the EO that a heart transplant surgery was successfully performed on Bharat from Kurnool. He stated that so far 4,950 cardiac surgeries and 23 heart transplant procedures have been conducted at the hospital.
Subsequently, the EO inspected the advanced Cath Lab machine in ICU-1 used for correcting heart defects, the isolation ward in ICU-2, ICU-3 and the general wards, and interacted with patients and their attendants.
Doctors explained that a three-month-old infant Kishore from Kadapa, who had a condition where oxygenated and deoxygenated blood were mixing, was successfully treated through surgery to correct the blood flow.
