Donor's Largesse to Retracteble Roof
Tirumala, 22 January 2018: Nellore based businessman and philanthropist Sri V Prabhakar Reddy has come forward to bear the total cost of retractable roof set up in Tirumala temple.
Speaking on this in his bunglow at Tirupati on Monday, Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju said, the head of VPR Infrastructure Private Ltd. Sri V Prabhakar Reddy has come forward to bear the total expenditure of retractable roof which costs Rs.1.09cr. In the first phase the he has donated Rs.55lakhs and handed over the DD for the same today. This roof provides a protective shield to pilgrims during inclement weather conditions. In normal weather conditions, the pilgrims will get to see the Dhwajastambham", he added.
