Grand Bhajan Shoba Yatra By TTD Dasa Sahitya Project
Tirupati, 19 Jan. 19: As part of Srivari Quarterly Metlotsavam a grand Shoba Yatra of bhajan mandals was organised by the TTDs Dada Sahitya project in temple town of Tirupati on Saturday evening.
The three-day metlotsavam was kicked off this morning at the Third Choultry, behind Railway station with bhajan mandals conducting suprabatha meditation, and collective bhajans. The bhajan mandal members were also later trained in new sankeertans, Bhakti message etc.
The OSD of Dasa sahitya project Sri Anandathurtha charyulu, DyEO Smt Jhansi Rani performed special poojas at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple before commencing the Shoba Yatra.
Speaking on the occasion tne OSD said Govinda Nama sankeerthana was the only path for bliss and 3000 Devotees from AP, Telangana, Karnataka and Tamilnadu were participating in tne Shoba Yatra. The Shoba Yatra will reach the TTDs third choultry from Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple as devotees chant sankeertans.
He said the Shoba Yatra would conclude on January 21 following Special pujas at Padala Mandapam and trek the Alipiri route to Tirumala.
