Goddess Padmavathi Rides Colourful Float
Tiruchanoor, 15 Jun. 19: On the third day of ongoing annual Teppotsavam of Sri Padmavathi ammavari temple, Goddess Padmavathi rode majestically on colourful flat and blessed the devotees.
Earlier suprabatham, Sahasra namarchanaand nityarchana sevas were performed and later in the afternoon abhisekam was conducted to utsava idol of Goddess Padmavathi at the Nirada mandapam in the Padma Pushkarani.
On the grand float procession in the evening, Goddess Padmavathi rode three rounds and later paraded on mada streets to bless the devotees.
On the fourth day of float festival tomorrow, Sunday, the Goddess will also go round the Pushkarani in the float. TTD has cancelled Kalyanotsavam, and unjal seva on Saturday.
DyEO Smt Jhansi Rani, AEO Sri Subramanyam, AVSO Sri Nandeeswar Rao, Superintendent Sri Gopalakrishna and other officials, archakas, devotees participated.
