Vishaka Seer Offers Prayers in Sri Tirumala Temple

The Pontiff of Visakha Sarada Peetham, HH Sri Swaroopanandendra Saraswati Swamy accompanied by Junior Pontiff Sri Swatmanandendra Saraswathy Swamy offered prayers in the temple of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on Monday.

Following the temple tradition, first he offered prayers in the temple of Sri Varaha Swamy. Later on his arrival at Mahadwaram, he was welcomed in a traditional manner. TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy was present.

Swarna Ratham Held

After a gap of two years due to Covid, Swarnaratham procession took place at Tiruchanoor on Monday morning between 7am and 8.30am.

Goddess Sri Padmavathi Devi in all Her religious splendour took celestial ride on the Swarnaratham along the four mada streets and blessed devotees.

Deputy EO Sri Lokanatham, AEO Sri Prabhakar Reddy and others were present.

Annamaiah Sankeertans Enlightened Society

he Sankeertans penned by Saint Poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya were not only dedicated to Sri Venkateswara Swamy but also enlightened the society in those days, said TTD CVSO Sri Narasimha Kishore.

The Chief Cop of TTD participated in the 614th Jayanti fete of Padakavita Pitamaha at Tirupati in Mahati Auditorium in Monday evening.

Sri Phani Narayana of Hyderabad presented alluring vocal concert while students of SV College of Music and Dance under the guidance of Smt Sailaja performed a dance ballet on Vengamamba life.

Annamacharya Project Director Dr A Vibhishana Sharma, Astana Vidwan of TTD Dr G Balakrishna Prasad were also present.

Grand Srivari Kalyanam at Thallapaka

TTD has organised a grand Srivari Kalyanam fete at Dhyana Mandiram at Tallapaka on Monday as part of the 614th Jayanti utsavam of saint poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya.

The Vedic pundits and archakas performed the iconic fete of Srivari kalyanam at the Kalyana vedika amidst Mangal Vaidyams and chanting of Vedic mantras.

TTD organised drinking water and buttermilk, snacks during the event and Anna Prasadam after kalyanam for huge numbers of devotees.

Earlier the Annamacharya Project artists presented Nada Swaram and Saptagiri Sankeertana Gosti Ganam.

Later in evening Smt Munilakshmi and Sri Mohan teams presented vocal and Smt Pramila team rendered Harikatha.

Thereafter Srivari unjal Seva is performed at the 108 feet statue of Annamaiah on Rajampeta-Kadapa highway where too the artists presented Sankeertana Gosti Ganam followed by harikatha programs by the Smt Sitalakshmi of Tirupati.

TTD HDPP special officer Sri Vijayasarathi, AEO Sri Sathyanarayana, Program Assistant Smt Latha, other officials and devotees were present.

Garuda Vahanam Held

The monthly Pournami Garuda Seva held with spiritual fervour in Tirumala on Monday evening.

Braving the showers the devotees thronged in the galleries of mada street to catch the glimpse of Sri Malayappa Swamy on mighty Garuda Vahanam.

Pushpayagam Held at Kapileswara Swamy Vari Temple

The annual Patra-Pushpa Yagam was held with religious fervour in the famous Shiva shrine of Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple in Tirupati on Monday.

As a part of the ritual, Sri Kapileswara and Sri Kamakshi Devi were rendered Snapana Tirumanjanam between 7:30am and 9:30am. This was followed by Pushpayagam between 10am and 12 noon with 2.5tonnes of traditional flowers and leaves.

Chief Audit Officer Sri Sesha Sailendra, Deputy EO Sri Devendra Babu, Garden Deputy Director Sri Srinivasulu, AEO Sri Srinivasulu, archakas, temple officials and devotees were also present.
