TTD Eo Inagurates TTD Photo Exhibition at Srivari Vaibhavotsavam in Nellore









TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy along with Rajya Sabha MP Sri Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy on Tuesday inaugurated the TTD photo exhibition organised by the PR Department as part of Sri Venkateswara  Vaibhavotsam fete organized in Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore district.


Later he also visited the publications stall, Panchagavya products stall and also Go puja locations at the AC Subba Reddy Stadium which is hosting the festivities.


The TTD EO scrutinised the flexes put up at the exhibition including Gopuja and Saptagopradakshinashala, desi cows breeding at Gosamrakshanashala,

Go based organic farming products for Srivari Naivedyam, devotees turn out for Srivari darshan during last five years, Srivari Seva, Navaneeta seva, electric cars, laddu Prasadam, Pavitra Gardens, Agarbattis, Panchagavya products making, photo frames of deities made of Dry Flower Technology and Srivari Pushpa Prasadam etc.


Thereafter the TTD EO participated in the Sahasra Deepalankara seva performed at the model Srivari temple at the Vaibhavotsam fete location.

Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams Off To A Grand Start at Nellore









Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams off to a colourful start at AC Subba Reddy Stadium in Nellore district on Tuesday.


After awakening Sri Venkateswara Swamy with Suprabatha Seva, Thomala, Koluvu, Archana were observed followed by the Tuesday Arjita Seva, Asta Dala Pada Padmaradhana was performed.


The seva that is being performed in Tirumala on every Tuesday from the past three and a half decades was replicated by worshipping Srivaru with 108 gold lotuses, reciting the divine names.


VASANTHOTSAVAM PERFORMED


The Spring Festival Vasanthotsavam was observed with celestial fervour between 10am and 11am where in Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to the processional deities of Srivaru, Sridevi and Bhudevi.


Renowned musician Smt Balarka presented Annamacharya Sankeertans in a mellifluous way.

Pavitrotsavams in Tallapaka


The annual Pavitrotsavams will be observed in Sri Siddheswara Swamy temple between August 17 and 19 in Annamaiah district.


On August 17 Punyahavachanam, Mrutsangrahanam, Ankurarpanam, Grandhi Pavitra Puja will be observed.


On August 18, Pavitra Pratistha, on August 19 Pavitra Samarpana, Purnahuti and Pavitra Vitarana will be performed.

fter a break of two and half years of Pandemic corona TTD has revived the Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams which has been receiving overwhelming response from the denizens of Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore district, said TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.


Speaking to local media after taking part in a series of events at AC Subba Reddy Stadium, the EO said, "With the objective to showcase the daily Kainkaryams that are being performed at Srivari temple for the benefit of devotees at their home places who could not make it to Tirumala, TTD is set to conduct the Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams again post Covid season.Earlier also, Sri Vemireddi couple had organized this fete in Nellore which received a mammoth response from local devotees. Again they are contributing for organising this divine event ", he maintained.


Adding further, the EO said, upon the directives of Honourable CM of AP Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy TTD is doing large scale Dharmic programmes and is set to organize Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams at all the major cities across the country in co-ordination with the local philanthropists of respective areas, he said.


Later he participated in Tiruveedhi Utsavam of the processional deities of Swamy and Ammavarlu.

Affliliation of Veda Pathashalas Across India With Vedic University - TTD Eo

 TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy said that TTD had commenced a process for merger and affiliation of all Veda Pathashalas across the country with Vedic University.

 

He unfurled the Tricolour National Flag in the capacity of the Vice Chancellor of Sri Venkateswara Vedic University along with others.

 

Addressing the occasion, he appealed to the Vedic faculty and students to draw inspiration from freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the sake of Independent India. Promotion of Vedic studies and development of the Vedic University should be your priority.

 

He said TTD provided all basic facilities for Veda students and exhorted them to acquire ancient knowledge. The faculty of the University should not compromise on quality of education as TTD had resolved the issue of adhoc lecturers in 2009 recognising their services and making them permanent.

 

He urged the staff to follow the academic system to achieve good results and said the University has been organizing conferences like Shruta samvardhini and Gaveshana for the benefit of the faculty and students to sharpen their communication skills.

 

Thereafter students Dhananjay Dwivedi, Guru Prasad, Roshan Pathak and Dheeraj presented patriotic songs on the auspicious occasion of 75 glorious years of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

 

Registrar of University Dr AV Radhesyam, Academic Dean Dr Phaniyajneswar Yajulu, Directors Dr Sitarama Rao, Sri Ramakrishna, PRO Dr Bhrahmacharyulu, faculty and students were also present.

Paying tributes to the Freedom Fighters who sacrificed their lives for Independent India on the occasion of 76th Independence Day Celebrations, TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy said, TTD employees also serve the pilgrims with dedication as ''Devotees are our Deities ".

 

During his I-Day speech after hoisting the National Flag at Gokulam Rest House premises on Monday, the TTD poured in laurels on TTD officials, employees of various departments, Vigilance and Police for their dedicated services from the past five months as Tirumala has been witnessing heavy rush in the aftermath of post Covid.

 

"Since this April, Tirumala has been witnessing unprecedented pilgrim crowd as the Central and State Governments have relaxed Covid norms. The services by Annaprasadam, Health, Vigilance, Kalyana Katta, Reception and temple wings are exceptionally well as all the employees are discharging duties round the clock, during rush period which is still continuing", he observed. He also thanked media for spreading the Glory of Srivaru and the pilgrim-friendly development activities taken up by TTD across the country.

 

"If we take a glance at the development activities that took place in Tirumala in the last one year, all the rest houses which were built some four decades ago are being given a facelift and more convenient for devotees. Out of the 7000 rest houses already 5000 were equipped even with Hot water geysers while the remaining will get ready by the September".

 

Adding further he said "Even the modernised Parakamani Building will be ready for inauguration scheduled on September 28 at Tirumala. Similarly the TATAs has come forward to revive the SV Museum in the Hill Town with international standards. The jewels of Tirumala temple and artefacts will be digitized and put on display with 3D imaging technology for the sake of the devotees", he said.

 

The EO said TTD observing the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav in a big way celebrating the 75 glorious years of Independent India and wished all the strong workforce of TTD to continue their services with the same spirit and offer impeccable services to devotees.

Let US Save The World Through GO Adharita Vyavasayam - TTD EO

 Citing the various deadly health hazards like cancer etc. Being caused by consuming the products produced out of modern farming techniques, the TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy called upon everyone to encourage the natural farming products especially produced through the "Go Adharita Vayavasayam" method.

 

In his Independence Day speech after hoisting the National Flag at Parade Grounds in TTD on Monday, the EO said TTD is promoting Go Adharita Vyavasayam with a noble aim to safeguard the health interests of humanity across the world. "To start with, we have begun the process of procuring such products by giving a minimum selling price to the farmers opting for cow-based Natural farming technique", he expressed.

 

The EO later elaborated on the various development activities and initiatives taken up by TTD in recent times with respect to devotees as well as its employees. A few excerpts from his speech.

 

The pilgrims are coming in large numbers to Tirumala for Srivari darshan after the pandemic Covid has subsided.

 

TTD conducted various religious discourses and parayanams for the health safeguards and well-being of the entire global humanity. These Yagam and parayanams are still underway in the holy abode.

 

With the blessings of Lord Venkateswara TTD has resolved to take up service to humanity and also the propagation of Sanatana Hindu Dharma programs in a big way.

 

TTD took up gold plating of Vimana Gopura of Sri Govindarajaswami temple with 100 kg gold on September 14 of 2021 and fully geared to complete it by November this year.

 

TTD completed the construction of Srivari temples at Visakhapatnam, Bhubaneswar, Amaravati and opened up for devotees darshan. 

 

At Mumbai the Maharashtra Government has provided 10 acres prime area in Ulwe of Navi Mumbai where Sri Gautam Singhania of Raymond has come forward to construct Srivari temple at an estimated 100 crore and the Bhumi Puja for the same will take place on August 21.

 

A pair of cow and calf have been donated to 193 temples across the country so far as per directions of Honourable AP CM Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy directions for Hindu dharma propagation under the Gudiko Gomata program. TTD is committed to facilitate devotees to perform Go Puja at any temple in the country.

 

TTD has built Sri Venkateswara Sapta Go Pradakshina Mandiram Complex at Alipiri for the benefit of devotees coming by vehicles and footpaths with the objective to have Gomata darshan ahead of Srivari darshan.

 

With an objective to provide quality feed to animals TTD entered into MoU with SV Veterinary University and Utech Bioscience of New York, US on August 11 in 2021 to set up a Feed mixing Plant at Goshala in Tirupati. Works are underway and expected to be completed by this year's end. A ghee making plant is under construction at Tirupati Goshala and likely to complete it by year end.

 

TTD has rolled out plans for Goshala development in collaboration with Goshala operators in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. In first phase training programs were conducted for nodal Goshala at rate of 2 in all of 26 districts of Andhra Pradesh.TTD is extending all support for development of Goshalas across the state.

 

As part of this drive TTD has so far donated 1900 barren cows to organic farmers for use in production of organic products in their fields.

 

By utilising the flowers used in TTD temples TTD has launched production of agarbattis and selling them to devotees from September 2021.

 

TTD is producing seven brands of Agarbattis in collaboration with Bangalore-based Darshan International and devotees have spontaneously responded driving TTD to double the proud of Agarbattis.

 

TTD has launched production of 15 Panchagavya products with cow urine and cow dung collected in SV Goshala in Tirupati, Tirumala and Palamner. In collaboration with Ashirwad Ayurveda Pharmacy of Coimbatore is producing Namami Govinda brand of products which are sold from last year to devotees and also marketing them through E-commerce platform.

 

TTD has procured license from Ayush ministry to produce over 300 types of Ayurveda products at its Ayurveda pharmacy and has strengthened the pharmacy wing to produce 100 products. TTD is also gathering new equipment and commenced modernisation of its plant and begin production by October 2022.

 

On the directions of Honourable AP CM Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy to have an exclusive Children's Hospital in the state of Andhra Pradesh, TTD conceived Sri Padmavati Children's Hrudayalaya at Alipiri on October 11, 2021 to undertake heart ailments of newborns and infants.

       

As of now over 500 surgeries including 50% open-heart operation and rest cath lab procedures and patients are coming from overseas in the last six months.

 

BIRRD hospital has set up special task team to treat children born with Cerebral palsy during delivery.

 

TTD has begun the construction of Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Memorial at Vengamamba Brindavanam at Tirumala with a donor contribution of 5 crore

 

TTD is compiling a Calamities management Manual for formulating a quick response system to tackle calamities on Ghat roads like landslides, tree falls, forest fires etc. TTD is gearing to set up a control room for issuing alerts during calamities.

 

TTD has launched a program for beautification of significant locations in Tirumala with gardens and landscaping by corporate donors like GMR, SriCity, Phoenix foundation etc.

 

TTD has raised sacred gardens in Tirumala to grow a variety of flowers for Srivari puja as mentioned in puranas. It has put up Sri Venkateswara Pavitra Udayanavanam (10 acres) at Shilathoranam, Sri Venkateswara Srigandha Pavitra Udayanavanam at Gogarbham dam. TTD is developing 35 acres to grow 16,000 flower plants.

 

24.In order to protect the plant life and animal, birds habitation and also improve soil fertility in the Seshachala forest range of Tirumala, TTD has launched a program to eliminate the 40 types of wild shrubs of Acacia auriculiformis spread on 576 hectares and promote planting of traditional varieties.

 

25.TTD signed a MoU with the Dr YSR horticultural university on September 13 in 2021 for providing dry flower technology to make artefacts like the portraits of deities, calendars, key chains and paperweights and Rakhi’s from used flowers In TTD temples. The artefacts are already on sale and also available on e-commerce platform.

 

26.With an objective to protect the green environment in Tirumala, TTD has banned usage of plastics completely.

 

Devotees are appealed not to bring any plastic bottles and for their benefit TTD has organised glasses and glass jugs in all rooms. TTD vigilance is also strictly checking vehicles at Alipiri check point for plastic bottles, besides monitoring in shops, Hotels etc. in Tirumala.

 

27. In collaboration with NTPC, TTD has plans to set up a 5 MW solar power unit over 25 acres at Dharmagiri in order promote green energy and protection of ecology of Tirumala.

 

Electric vehicles

 

28. As part of its green drive TTD decided to promote electric vehicles in place of diesel cum petrol vehicles in Tirumala. In an experimental manner in first phase TTD has purchased 35 electric vehicles from Energy Efficiency services Ltd on monthly rental of 32,000.

 

TTD has also resolved to operate electric buses with APSRTC between Tirupati and Tirumala.As part of its propaganda for Hindu dharma TTD has started translating Astadasha puranas into Telugu.So for Kurma Maha Puranam, Vishnu Maha Puranam, Brahma Maha Puranam, Matsya Maha puranam, Agni Maha Puranam (first and second volume) and Uttara Harivansham (1&2 volumes) are printed. Rest of translation works are under progress.

 

TTD is providing quality education to 19,500 students in its 35 educational institutions of which 10,600 are provided hostel facilities. To inculcate moral and human values among students TTD is organising training programs by Ramakrishna mission, Chinmaya mission and ISKCON. Recently Sri Padmavati Mahila degree and PG College received coveted A+ from NAAC.

 

TTD plans to print 33 lakh copies of 8 varieties of calendars and diaries for the year 2023. As part of its propaganda campaign for Sanatana Hindu dharma, TTD is publishing 2.10 lakh copies of Saptagiri magazine in five languages.

 

For the benefit of TTD employees to get cashless medical service and treatment, TTD has decided to set up a special fund in collaboration with several insurance companies and hospitals. The 200 pending DA cases against the employees will also be resolved soon, he added.

 

In order to provide job security to 7260 contract workers through societies and agencies TTD board has set up a Sri Lakshmi Srinivasa Manpower Corporation. All contract workers will be empowered by the corporation in a phased manner.

 

Through state government legislation the SVIMS was merged with TTD for providing extensive medical services to patients. For benefit students studying Physiotherapy, Para medical courses at SVIMS TTD have offered free boarding facilities as in TTD educational institutions.

 

Similarly TTD has plans to improve the SVIMS canteen for the benefit of students, patients, their assistants etc. A shed built for attendants of the patients will also be developed further.

 

The TTD campaign for Sanatana Hindu Dharma through SVBC during the last two years of Pandemic corona has received huge popularity and response from the devotees. It is said that crores of devotees are happy about live telecast of Srivari devotional programs and feel blessed by Sri Venkateswara.

 

There has been a wave of popular response and appreciation for the Parayanam programs at Nada Neerajanam platform during the last two years of Corona for the wellbeing of global humanity. TTD shall continue telecast of these programs in future as well for spreading awareness of Hindu culture and traditions among future generations. TTD intends to take up more and more Dharmic programs in extended partnership with devotees.
