Governor extends financial support to para-athlete





Hon’ble Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan on Tuesday extended a financial support of Rs 50,000 to para-athlete K. Lokeshwari enabling her to get the professional training to excel in her chosen sport.

Ms. Lokeshwari, a budding para-athlete, is taking training in Shotput and Discuss Throw, and is nurturing ambitions to represent the country at the international competitions. The Governor handed over the cheque to Lokeshwari at Raj Bhavan, here.

The Governor motivated the para-athlete and wished her good luck in all her sporting endeavours and assured of her all necessary help.

Stress-Free Education to Reach Higher Goals - TTD JEo(H&E)







The students should aim to reach higher goals in their lives with a stress-free education, said TTD JEO for Health and Education Smt Sada Bhargavi.


Seventeen students from TTD-run schools who stood as toppers in the Tenth Class examination with over 500 plus marks, met the JEO in her chambers in TTD Administrative Building on Monday along with their parents. The JEO while congratulating all suggested them to join TTD colleges for pursuing higher education as there is a healthy atmosphere of learning in the TTD educational institutions. She also said special training will be given to them for NEET, JEE, EAMCET etc. courses also. Later she has presented momentos to all students and lauded the efforts of their parents, faculty and HMs.


DEO Sri Bhaskar Reddy, AEO Balamandiram Smt Ammulu, HMs of various schools were also present.


Special Sahasra Kalashabhiseka to Sri Bhoga Srinivasa Murthy on 28th Nov



TTD is organising a grand Sahasra Kalashabishekam to Sri Bhoga Srinivasa Murty of Srivari temple on May 28 in Tirumala.


The special abisekham will be performed at the Bangaru vakili in srivari temple between 6am and 8:30am and all arjita Sevas will be held as usual.

The 18 inch silver idol of Sri Bhoga Srinivasa Murty was presented to Srivari temple by Pallava Queen Samavai Perundevi in 614BC. To commemorate this historical occasion, TTD has been observing the special Sahasra Kalashabisekam every year from the past over one and a half decades.


The idol is considered as Koutuka Beram, one among the Pancha Maha Beras and Sri Bhoga Srinivasa Murthy is also known as Sri Manavala Perumal and mentioned in inscriptions of Srivari temple.


Unparalleled Hindu Dharma Prachara by TTD - TTD Chairman





TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy said  that TTD has rolled out unparalleled Sanatana Hindu dharma propagation in SC, ST, fishermen and BC remote villages across the country and that a 2 crore Kalyana mandapam will be built at Rampachodavaram soon.


Speaking to reporters after participating in the Maha Samprokshana fete of the newly built Sri Venkateswara temple at Rampachodavaram, the TTD Chairman said upon directions of Honourable AP CM Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy the SV temple was constructed at a cost of 7.5 crore including other development works.


He said a similar SV temple and a Kalyan mandapam was built at Seethampeta. All the tribals were provided Vaikunta Dwaram Darshan and Srivari Brahmotsava Darshanam at Tirumala freely besides providing them transport, rooms and Anna Prasadam.


He said TTD has plans to build  2500 Srivari temples in all SC, ST, BC villages and said more Srivari Sevakulu from these regions are expected to visit Tirumala and offer their services to the fellow pilgrims.

Srinivasa Kalyanam Held at Rampachodavaram










The celestial Srinivasa Kalyanam was observed with utmost devotion and religious fervour in Srivari temple at Rampachodavaram in Alluri Seetaramaraju district on Monday evening.


The deities of Sri Bhu sameta Sri Srinivasa were seated on a finely decked platform and the divine wedding ceremony was carried out by Archakas amidst the chanting of Veda mantras in traditional Hindu wedding style.


A large number of devotees took part in this celestial Kalyanam.


DyEO Sri Guna Bhushan Reddy, other staff were also present.
