To ensure the effective and organized conduct of Srinivasa Kalyanotsavams, TTD Executive Officer Sri J. Syamala Rao directed officials concerned to prepare comprehensive guidelines and procedures.
The EO conducted a review meeting at his chambers in the TTD administrative building on Monday evening along with Additional EO Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary, JEO Sri V. Veerabrahmam, and other officials.
Speaking on the occasion, the EO stated that the Srinivasa Kalyanotsavams are being organized to globally to propagate the glory of Sri Venkateswara Swamy. He instructed the officials of the Kalyanotsavam Project to prepare a detailed report that would further enhance the prestige of TTD through these spiritual programs.
The EO emphasized the selection of organizers and institutions that conduct the Kalyanotsavams not from a commercial perspective but with devotion.
He called for the drafting of a stringent framework that includes pre-signed MoUs with clear guidelines covering aspects such as the region of conduct, financial and legal matters, and organizer qualifications.
As APNRT is already coordinating Kalyanotsavams abroad, the EO stressed the need to adopt a structured approach for these international Kalyanotsavam programs.
He directed the preparation of a “Dos and Don’ts” list specifically for overseas events and to frame rules for strict implementation.
Later, the EO also reviewed the waste management system in Tirumala and instructed the officials concerned to expedite the tendering process for effective implementation.
The meeting was attended by CE Sri T.V. Satyanarayana, HDPP Secretary Sri Sriram Raghunath, Deputy EOs Sri Govindarajan and Sri Somanna Rayana and others.
