Stating that strengthening systems and delivering quality services to devotees is the primary objective, the TTD Additional Executive Officer Sri Ch.Venkaiah Chowdary said that several reforms are being implemented across TTD in the last 18 months.

The 77th Republic Day celebrations were held in a grand manner on Monday at Gokulam Rest House in Tirumala.

On the occasion, the Additional EO hoisted the National Flag, offered salutations, and extended Republic Day greetings to TTD employees, officers working in Tirumala, Vigilance personnel, Police department staff, Srivari Sevaks, devotees, and media representatives.

R-Day speech highlights:

For any nation or institution to sustain in the long term, strong systems and a clear structure are essential.

Role Model Constitution:

India has emerged as the world’s largest democracy because the Constitution has evolved over time through amendments aligned with the needs of the people from time to time and became a role model to the entire world

Policy-Based Governance at TTD:

As an ancient and eminent religious institution, TTD continually reviews its systems and introduces reforms in line with devotees’ needs

Over the past one and a half years, several revolutionary changes have been introduced in the Annadanam wing through policy reforms.

Significant efforts have also been made to bring a comprehensive policy under the Cottage Donation Scheme.

A comprehensive policy covering products, processes, agreements, cancellations, and blacklisting is being finalized for TTD’s procurement wing.

Efforts are also underway to conduct all procurement processes through an online portal, which will enhance transparency and significantly reduce human intervention.

Successful Conduct of Festivals through Inter-Departmental Coordination:

Major festivals such as Brahmotsavams, Vaikuntha Ekadasi, and Ratha Saptami—held in close succession—were conducted efficiently amidst lakhs of devotees through effective coordination among all departments. Post-event reviews are conducted after every major event to further improve services in the future.

Collection of Devotee Feedback:

Feedback is being continuously collected from devotees through WhatsApp, IVRS, phone calls, and Srivari Sevaks to enhance service quality.

Over 96–97% of devotees expressed satisfaction with Annadanam services, and devotees are fully satisfied with the quality of laddus.

AI based Technological Reforms:

Command Control Center set up at Vaikuntham–1, time was optimally utilized on Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan days, enabling darshan for a record 7.83 lakh devotees—an all-time high.

Public Transport Display System in Tirumala has been highly beneficial, as it informs devotees at bus stops in advance about bus arrival times.

QR Code–Based Footwear Counters:

To address issues related to the safekeeping of devotees’ footwear, QR code–based footwear counters—similar to luggage counters—have been established in Tirumala, yielding excellent results.

The Additional EO emphasized that TTD is progressing with sanctity, transparency, and devotees’ welfare at the core of every system, with the ultimate goal of ensuring Tirumala remains the world’s foremost spiritual destination.
