On the auspicious occasion of Surya Jayanti, Suryapraha Vahana Seva has been witnessed with celestial grandeur on Sunday.
The Saptha Vahana Seva commenced with the Sun carrier at 5:30am and continued till 8am.
All the galleries along the four mada streets found jampacked with devotees who occupied every inch from Saturday evening itself to witness the Seven Vahana Sevas and beget the divine blessings on January 25.
Significance:
It is widely believed that the Darshan of Universal Supremo Sri Malayappa on Suryapraha besows devotees with health and prosperity, as the Sun God is revered as the dispeller of diseases.
Highlights
The students of SV Bala Mandiram have chanted Aditya Hridayam and Suryastakam in a befitting manner matching the occasion.
The devotional dance performances by various artistes in front of Suryapraha Vahanam impressed the devotees.
TTD Chairman Sri BR Naidu, EO Sri AK Singhal, board members Sri Shantaram, Sri Naresh Kumar, Sri Bhanuprakash Reddy, Sri Diwakar Reddy, Smt Panabaka Lakshmi, Smt Janaki Devi and others were also present.
While the Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdary along with JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, CVSO Sri Muralikrishna and SP Sri Subbarayudu monitored the amenities to devotees across the galleries of four mada streets.
