TTD Eo Highlights Key Initiatives at 77th Republic Day Celebrations

Addressing the gathering after hoisting the National Flag on the occasion of the 77th Republic Day celebrations held at the Parade Grounds of TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati on Monday,


The Executive Officer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, stated that TTD is committed to spreading the divine glory of Sri Venkateswara Swamy across the country and providing darshan facilities to devotees who are unable to visit Tirumala due to distance constraints.


The EO outlined several key initiatives undertaken and planned by TTD for the welfare of devotees.


He noted that devotees expressed great satisfaction over the new Vaikuntha Ekadasi darshan system, wherein darshan was provided through a lucky dip method for the first three days and through Sarva Darshan queue lines for the remaining seven days.


With priority given to commoners, nearly 7.83 lakh devotees were facilitated with Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan in a smooth manner.

Srivari Temples across India to enable devotees from distant regions to worship Sri Venkateswara,


Temple construction will commence soon at Navi Mumbai, Bandra, Belagavi, Guwahati, Patna and Coimbatore.


Development works at the Srivari Temple in Venkatapalem, Amaravati, including a second prakaram, Kalyana Mandapam and Rajagopuram, are being undertaken at a cost of 92 crore and will be completed within two years.


For the convenience of devotees, an Integrated Township at Alipiri has been approved.


Additionally, PAC-5 pilgrim facility constructed at a cost of 102 crore has been made operational.


TTD continues to provide quality free meals to nearly 2 lakh devotees daily at Tirumala. 


Efforts are underway to extend two-timAnnaprasadam to more local and associated temples with donor support.


Healthcare Services:


TTD has allocated 48 crore to complete the Sri Padmavathi Institute of Children's Heart Care Centre. 


A new initiative titled “Srivari Vaidya Seva” will soon be launched with the support of expert doctors who come forward to render voluntary service to the ailing patients.


Education & Digitalisation:


With an investment of 130 crore, TTD educational institutions are being upgraded with smart classrooms, digital learning systems and additional hostel facilities benefiting over 1,080 students.


Security & Technology:


AI-enabled Integrated Command Control Centres, installation of 3,000 additional CCTV cameras, and new command centres at Tirupati are strengthening pilgrim safety and crowd management.


Donor Contributions:


Donations have increased by 40% over the last one year. From April to December, 2.74 lakh donors contributed 950 crore. Significant contributions include gold donations, 100 crore for a mega automated kitchen, and 300 crore for a Srivari temple at Coimbatore.


Environmental Initiatives:


TTD has adopted a 10-year green action plan focusing on forest cover expansion, bio-diversity restoration, herbal gardens and cultivation of teak trees for temple requirements.


Srivari Seva:


Completing 25 years, Srivari Seva has witnessed participation from over 17 lakh volunteers, rendering selfless service to pilgrims.


The EO expressed gratitude to donors, employees, security personnel, volunteers, media representatives and devotees for their continued support and cooperation. 


Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdary, JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, JEO(H&E) Dr Sharat, CV&SO Sri Muralikrishna, Deputy CF Sri Phanikumar Naidu, CE Sri Satyanarayana, FACAO Sri Balaji, Chief PRO Dr T Ravi were also present.
