The 618th Jayanthi celebrations of saint poet Tallapaka Annamacharya, revered as Padakavita Pitamaha, will be held from May 2 to 8 with grandeur at Tallapaka, Rajampet, and Tirupati.
At Tallapaka (birthplace), programs begin on May 2 at 9 AM with Sankeertana Ghoshti Ganam, followed by Srivari Kalyanam from 10:30 AM to 1 PM. Daily cultural programs including music, Harikatha, dance, and drama will be held from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
At the 108-ft Annamacharya statue in Rajampet, Unjal Seva will be performed on May 2 at 6:30 PM, followed by daily cultural programs during the evenings.
In Tirupati, celebrations commence at Annamacharya Kalamandiram on May 2 with Sankeertana Ghoshti Ganam at 9 AM. Music and Harikatha programs will follow. Literary sessions will be held from May 3 to 7. On May 8, Sri Kodandarama Swamy Asthanam will be performed, followed by cultural programs.
Daily evening programs will also be held at Annamacharya Kalamandiram and Mahati Kalakshetram from 6 PM to 8 PM.
