As part of the ongoing Salakatla Brahmotsavams clothes were presented on Saturday to the Srivari temple priests, Veda Parayanadars, other temple staff, potu workers, vahanam bearers, melam staff, and Kalyanakatta barbers.
The offering was made by MP Sri Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy and MLA Smt. Vemireddy Prashanthi Reddy who is also one of the TTD Board members at present.
The distribution of clothes took place at the Vaibhavotsava Mandapam in Tirumala, where TTD Chairman Sri B.R. Naidu formally presented the clothes to the temple personnel.
On this occasion Smt Vemireddy Prashanthi Reddy stated that they have been offering clothes to the Brahmotsavam staff for the past eight years.
She expressed that presenting clothes to those who serve during the Brahmotsavams is considered a fortune and blessing of Sri Venkateswara.
The event was attended by Srivari temple Peishkar Sri Ramakrishna, Potu Peishkar Sri Muniratnam, and other officials.
