Several important festivals will be observed at Sri Govindarajaswamy Temple, Tirupati, during the month of February.
The details are as follows:
February 1: Conclusion of the Teppotsavams
February 3: Pranaya Kalahotsavam
February 5: In connection with Uttara Nakshatra, procession along the four mada streets at 6.00 p.m.
February 7: As part of Adhyayanotsavams Pedda Sattumora.
February 10: On the concluding day of Adhyayanotsavams, Sri Govindarajaswamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi, Sri Andal Ammavaru, Senadhipati and Alwars will be taken in a grand procession in the morning to Alwar Theertham near Kapila Theertham, where Sattumora and Asthanam will be conducted. Later, the deities will return to the temple.
February 12: On the occasion of Garuda Seva as part of the Brahmotsavams of Sri Kalyana Venkateswaraswamy at Srinivasamangapuram, the garlands of Sri Andal Ammavaru will be taken in a procession from Sri Govindarajaswamy Temple at 6.30 a.m.
February 16: Shravana Nakshatra and procession of Sri Kalyana Venkateswaraswamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi
February 25: On the occasion of Rohini Nakshatra, Sri Parthasarathiswamy along with Rukmini and Satyabhama will take a procession at 6 p.m.
