As part of the annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Kapileswara Swamy, the cultural programmes organised on the second day, Monday, at the temple premises mesmerised the devotees.
As part of the programmes, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, a Nadaswaram and Dolu concert was presented by the faculty of the Nadaswaram and Dolu Schools. Sri Muniratnam and Sri Krishnamurthy on Nadaswaram, along with Sri Nagaraju, Sri Sivakumar and Sri Krishnamurthy on Dolu, captivated the audience.
The concert featured devotional compositions such as Sri Mahalakshmi, Parandhama and other krithis, enthralling the devotees.
Later, from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, a flute concert was presented by Dr. Anantha Krishna on flute, Dr. Manda on violin and Sri Jayaram on mridangam. The artistes rendered popular compositions including Siva Sivayanaradha, Mamava Sada Janani, Emi Sethura Linga and other krithis, which greatly impressed the audience.
Subsequently, from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm, a Kuchipudi dance performance was presented by the team led by Kala Ratna Dr. Usharani, faculty member of the Kuchipudi Department of the College. The performance, featuring items such as Vinayaka Kautham, Shamba Shivayanave, Shiva Panchakshari and Aigiri Nandini, drew appreciation from all quarters.
The Kuchipudi dance programme saw the participation of students Pragathi, Puneethasri, Dwithisri, Naga Sri Vidya, Vikhshitha, Shanvika, Ashritha, Shriya Josher, Swetha Sri, Deeptika, Hemasri Vastala, Vamsika, Sai Harshini, Gnana Prasoona, Sri Prasastini and Sri Vardhini.
