Maha Samprokshanam Performed in Sri Veda Narayana Swamy Vari Temple








The Maha Samprokshana ritual was performed to the Rajagopuram and also to the ancient temple of the Sri Vedanarayana Swamy at Nagalapuram on Sunday. 

Due to its proximity to Uttukottai of Tamilnadu, the temple also draws large number of devotees from the neighboring state also.

As such devotees for this sacred ritual attended from TN also and received the blessings of the unique Matsyarupa(Fish incarnation among Dasavatara of Deity)of the presiding deity .

On this auspicious occasion, the Vimana  Samprokshana was performed with religious grandeur between 11 am and 12 noon to the shrines of Sri Vedanarayana, Sri Vedavalli, Sri Kodandarama, Sri Bhaktanjaneya and Sri Hayagreeva by 62 Rutviks amidst chanting of Veda Mantras.

After the Maha Samprokshana, the devotees were allowed to have darshan of the presiding deity.  

The entire program was broadcasted worldwide through the SVBC for the convenience of the global devotees.

Special Officer of the temple and Deputy EO HR Sri Govindarajan, SE In-charge Sri Narasimha Murthy, Chief Audit Officer Sri Venkateswarlu,Deputy EO General Sri Sivaprasad, Estate Officer Smt. Suvarnamma, Temple Superintendent Sri Dharmaiah and other officials and a large number of devotees participated in the program.
