The annual Brahmotsavams at Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Thondamanpuram are
in marching ahead in full religious spirit.
The festivities commenced on February 16 and will conclude on February 24. As part of the celebrations, Vahana Sevas are being conducted from 7 pm to 8.30 pm.
On Tuesday, marking the second day of the Brahmotsavams, Sri Venkateswara Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi was taken in a majestic procession on Hamsa Vahanam.
Upcoming Schedule:
February 18 – Simha Vahanam
February 19 – Hanumantha Vahanam
February 20 – Kalyanotsavam at 5.00 pm; Garuda Vahanam in the night
February 21 – Gaja Vahanam
February 22 – Chandraprabha Vahanam
February 23 – Tiruchi in the morning; Aswa Vahanam in the night
On February 24, Chakra Snanam will be performed from 9.30 am to 11.30 am, followed by
Dhwajavarohanam from 6.30 pm to 8pm.
On February 25, Pushpayagam will be held at 5.30 pm.
In connection with the Brahmotsavams, cultural programmes are being organized ahead of the Vahana Sevas, enhancing the spiritual fervour of the celebrations.
