The annual Brahmotsavams of the renowned Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Mangalampeta in Pulicherla mandal commenced ceremoniously on Saturday morning with Dhwajarohanam.
The Utsava deities of Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi were taken in a procession around the temple, followed by the hoisting of the Garuda flag between 8 AM and 9 AM symbolically inviting all celestial deities to the festival. Special poojas were performed before the flag was hoisted on the Dwajasthambham. In the evening, the Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy will bless devotees atop the Pedda Sesha Vahanam.
TTD has made elaborate arrangements for the Brahmotsavams being held from February 21 to March 2. Vahana Sevas will be conducted from 8 AM to 9 AM and 6 PM to 8 PM
Key events include Garuda Seva on February 25 night, Rathotsavam on February 28 morning, Chakra Snanam on March 1 morning and Pushpayaga Mahotsavam on March 2 morning.
