Pushpa Yagam Held in Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Vari Temple

he annual Pushpayagam is held with utmost religious fervour in Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy temple in Tirupati on Saturday evening.

The processional deities of Sita Lakshmana sameta Sri Rama were offered a traditional floral bath with three tonnes of eleven varieties of flowers and six types of leaves that took place in the Unjal Mandapam between 3pm and 5pm amidst the chanting of Vedic Mantras.

Grihastha devotees also participated in the programme and enjoyed the entire fete with devotion.

The entire premises of the temple is filled with fine fragrance of Maruvam, Davanam, Panner leaves.

Earlier procession of flowers and leaves took place.

In the morning Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to the deities. The temple priest Kankanabhattar Sri Ananda Kumar Deekshitulu and his team performed all the rituals.

Temple DyEO Smt Nagaratna, Garden Deputy Director Sri Srinivasulu, AEO Sri Durgaraju, Farm Manager Sri Janardhan, Superintendent Sri Ramesh Kumar, Temple Inspectors Sri Jay Kumar, Sri Muniratnam were also present.

Hanuman Jayanthi Fete from 25th to 29th May

TTD is contemplating to organised Hanuman Jayanti in a big way from May 25th to 29th at Tirumala.

In this connection, a review meeting with all the department heads in Tirumala by Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy took place at Annamaiah Bhavan on Saturday.

The Additional EO directed officials concerned that the five day festivities will be observed at Anjanadri, Japali, Nada Neerajanam and Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham.

He said on May 29 Akhanda Sampoorna Sundarakanda Parayanam will be conducted at Dharmagiri.

He said special programs and discourses shall be organized on Anjanadri Vaibhavam, Itihasa Hanumadvijayam, Yoganjaneyam, Veeranjaneyam, Bhaktanjaneyam and will be telecasted live on SVBC for the sake of global devotees.

He directed the concerned that scholars Sri Rani Sadasivamurthy, Dr Vibhishana Sharma, Sri Pavana Kumara Sharma to be involved in Nada Neerajanam programs.

CEO SVBC Sri Suresh Kumar, SE 2 Sri Jagadeeshwar Reddy, DyEO Sri Ramesh Babu, DE Sri Ravishankar Reddy, VGO Sri Bali Reddy, scholar Sri Viswanatha Sharma and others were also present.
