Aa Okkati Adakku Releasing On May 3rd




Allari Naresh is all set to enthrall in an out-and-out entertainer Aa Okkati Adakku which created a laughing riot with its humorous teaser. Directed by debutant Malli Ankam and produced by Rajiv Chilaka under the banner of Chilaka Productions, the movie is carrying good buzz. Bharath Laxmipati is the co-producer. Faria Abdullah is the female lead opposite Allari Naresh in the movie.


Today, the makers came up with an update of the film’s release date. Aa Okkati Adakku will be released on May 3rd to capitalize on the summer holidays. Movie buffs are keen to see Allari Naresh in a completely hilarious character after a long time. Allari Naresh guaranteed through the video that Aa Okkati Adakku will be a wholesome entertainer.

Tollywood’s big distribution house Asian Suresh Entertainment LLP acquired the theatrical rights of AA Okkati Adakku for AP and Telangana. The movie will have a massive release in Telugu states with their back up in Telugu states.

Suryaa is the cinematographer, while the music is scored by Gopi Sundar. The movie has dialogues by Abburi Ravi. Chota K Prasad is the editor of the movie, while J K Murthy is the art director.

Ram Charan Conferred Doctorate by the Vels University in Chennai



Ram Charan's star continues to rise, both domestically and internationally. Fresh off his global recognition for "RRR," the actor has now been bestowed with an honorary doctorate in literature from the prestigious Vels University in Chennai. This honor further solidifies his status as a "Global Star" and recognizes his multifaceted achievements.


The ceremony at Vels University was a grand affair, with Ram Charan receiving a warm welcome. His journey to stardom was highlighted, drawing applause from the audience. Chancellor Ishari K Ganesh presented him with the doctorate, marking a significant milestone in the actor's career. The university acknowledged Charan's contributions to the film industry as an actor, producer, and entrepreneur. The university's official account expressed excitement at welcoming the dynamic star for their 14th Annual Convocation, where he was presented with the prestigious Honoris Causa award.

Ram Charan was among several distinguished individuals honored by Vels University this year. The list includes Dr. P. Veeramuthuvel from ISRO, Dr. GSK Velu from Trivitron Healthcare, and Padma Shri awardee Achanta Sharath Kamal, a renowned table tennis player.

Ram Charan arrived in Chennai with his wife Upasana and daughter Klin Kaara, showcasing a heartwarming family moment. He opted for a casual yet stylish look for the occasion.

During the press conference, Ram Charan expressed his gratitude to the university for the honor, admitting his surprise and disbelief. He dedicated the doctorate to his directors, colleagues, audience, fans, and everyone who has supported him throughout his journey.

Day 2 of Ramayana Kalpavrksam








The 3-day music and dance extravaganza, ‘Ramayana Kalpavrksam’, at the CCRT Campus, Hyderabad; on the 2nd day, opened with an extremely informative and interesting talk and presentation by speaker Shefali Vaidya who spoke about Ramayana in the warp and weft of India - in kalamkari paintings embroidery bringing to life the presence of Ramayana in all aspects of Indian life. The second session was Swayambodha and Shatrubodha where Nupur Sharma and Pankaj Saxena discussed who the Hindus are, what are our ideological enemies and how to survive and thrive as a civilisation. Well known young scholar Vinay Varanasi along with Vivek Sadashivam brought to life the idea of Sri Rama Raksha through his involved talk and performance. The grand finale was a brilliant dance production Dhruva on Hanuman by the popular Aayana Dance Company. Ramayana Kalpavrksam has been curated by renowned dancer Ananda Shankar Jayant. The 3 day festival will conclude on Sunday 31st March with a talk by Dushyant Sridhar, a discussion between Aabhas Maldahiyar and Shivakumar and finally a grand musical evening by Indosoul by Karthick Iyer.

The shoot of Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi starrer Thandel, a rustic love story with patriotic elements, is happening in full swing in Hyderabad. Chandoo Mondeti is making the movie ambitiously under the banner of Geetha Arts with Bunny Vasu producing and Mega Producer Allu Aravind proudly presenting it.

Some shoot diaries from the sets of Thandel are out now and they reflect the vibe and the amiable relationship between actors and technicians. An intense, passion-filled, and fun kind of atmosphere is there on the sets. One picture shows Chandoo Mondeti briefing about a scene to Allu Aravind, whereas another picture shows a funny conversation between Bunny Vasu, Naga Chaitanya, and Chandoo.

Both Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi looked true to the characters in de-glamorous avatars. Director Chandoo Mondeti is taking special care in narrating the story authentically. He makes sure everything looks perfect, including the get-ups, costumes, body language, and slang of the actors. The makers announced to come up with some exciting updates soon.

Shamdat cranks the camera, while Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad provides the music. Srinagendra Tangala is the art director.

Pawan Kalyan is a power-packed massive actioner being helmed by Harish Shankar. Mythri Movie Makers is bankrolling the project prestigiously on a massive scale with a high budget. The makers gave a pleasant surprise by unleashing a teaser called- Bhagat’s Blaze.


Ustaad Bhagat Singh gives a strong reply to those who criticize his range. “The more you break the glass, the sharper it gets. Keep this in mind, the glass doesn’t represent our size, it represents our army. The invisible army,” counters he.

Harish Shankar presented Pawan Kalyan’s character in a stylish and power-packed avatar. The dialogues are punchy and Pawan Kalyan is all guns firing in the teaser. The video also showed the film’s lead actress Sreeleela.

Ayananka Bose’s cinematography and production values are top-notch. The action sequence is also commendable. Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad uplifted Pawan Kalyan’s character with his impressive score.

Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar are the producers of the film. Ram-Lakshman duo is taking care of stunts of the movie edited by Chota K Prasad.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah Heaps Praises On Team Hanu-Man







Creative director Prasanth Varma’s original Indian superhero film Hanu-Man starring Teja Sajja emerged as a sensational hit. The movie recently completed its 50 days run and the team celebrated the occasion majestically. It is a huge profit maker for the producer K Niranjan Reddy of PrimeShow Entertainment and buyers in all areas. The movie which is a commercial hit won the appreciation of many celebrities from all walks of life.


The latest to join the list is The Honourable Minister of Home Affairs of India, Shri Amit Shah, who heaped praises on team Hanu-Man for their commendable job in showcasing Bharat’s spiritual traditions and the superheroes that have emerged from them. He further extended best wishes to the team for their future projects.

Director Prasanth Varma, hero Teja Sajja, and producer K Niranjan Reddy met Amit Shah in Hyderabad when the Home Minister visited the city to attend a Party Meeting. The team Hanu-Man presented Amit Shah with a shield of Hanuman.

Amit Shah shared the pictures from the meeting and wrote: “Met the talented actor Shri @tejasajja123 and film director Shri @PrasanthVarma of the recent superhit movie Hanuman. The team has done a commendable job of showcasing Bharat's spiritual traditions and the superheroes that have emerged from them. Best wishes to the team for their future projects”. Chilkuri Sushil Rao’s “Hero of the sea’ documentary wins award at 8th Indian World Film Festival in Hyderabad






 



A documentary titled “Hero Of The Sea” produced and directed by Chilkuri Sushil Rao of Hyderabad has won an award at the 8th Indian World Film Festival-2024 held in Hyderabad on March 10. It got an ‘honourable jury mention’ at the awards ceremony. 

The documentary focuses on the Indian Navy’s firm action against pirates who in recent times have tried to attack ships. The documentary showcases the willpower of five Indians who were taken captive by pirates in Nigeria in 2019, to stay strong and how they survived the ordeal. They were let free only after 70 days with the intervention of the authorities.

More than 200 entries were received for the film festival organised by Noida-based Mumbai Box Office. Out of these 83 were officially selected. From these, the winners were picked by an international jury in various categories including feature films, feature documentaries, short documentaries, animation, documentaries and music videos. 

“The Hero Of The Sea” was picked by the jury for an ‘honourable mention award’.

The winners in all categories were presented mementos and certificates were presented  by D C Singh, chief advisor and Rambhul Singh, film director and founder of Mini Box Office.

This is the eighth year in which the festival was organised in Hyderabad. Throughout the year, film festivals are organised in eight big festivals in different cities in the country with some of them having been organised for the 12th year in succession. 

At the awards ceremony, Sushil Rao was also presented with an award that he had won at the 12th Mumbai International Film Festival organsied in December 2023 for  documentary “Oscar Challagariga” which got a Special Festival Mention in the festival. A ‘Certificate of Excellence’ was also presented to Sushil Rao for his short documentary entry “Human Feelings in Robot Wars’ which got selected in the 11th Noida International Film Festival-24 held in January. 

Daniel Mendoza Leal of Colombia‘ received an award for his Spanish film ‘Matarife La Pelicula’. Emi Ogawa of Japan received two awards that  ‘Samurai Tiger’ made by Miyaobi Pictures won at the 11th Noida International Film Festival-24.
