Tirumala Hills Reverberates to The Recitation of Sundarakanda Pradhama Sarga Slokas Akhanda Pathanam








Tirumala, 7 Jul. 20: Akhanda Pradhama Sarga Sundarakanda Pathanam will bring relief to humanity from Corona: TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy 

TTD additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy said TTD had taken up spiritual crusade through the Akhanda Pradhama Sarga Sundarakanda Pathanam for the health of all living beings across the globe from Covid-19 pandemic.

He participated in the recitation of the final 211 slokas from Pradhama Sarga in Sundarakanda organised at the Nadaneerajana Mandapam in Tirumala on Tuesday morning.

Later he said that from the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic the TTD had organised a 62 daylong Dhanvanthri Maha mantra parayanams at Nada Niranjanam. Similarly, on the advice of Veda pundits the TTD has taken up Akhanda Sundarakanda Pathanam from June 11 the seeking relief to human beings from pandemic Covid-19.
           
He said eminent pundits also explained the significance and meaning of 10 Shlokas whose parayanams were held daily for benefit of devotees. He said as per the legend of Ramayana penned by Sage Valmiki in Pradhama Sarga Lord Hanumanta had surged from Mahendragiri and reached Lanka passing all demon armies. All the parayanams of the 211 shlokas of the Prathama saga were conducted dutifully. It is believed that the Pathanam will please Lord Hanuman and thereby Sri Venkateswara who is also an incarnation of Sri Ramachandra and save the humanity from Covid-19 pandemic.
The Additional EO said 108 Veda pundits of Dharmagiri Veda Pathasala, faculty of the SV Veda University, Veda Parayanadars of SV Institute of Higher Vedic Studies and 58 scholars from Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidya Peetham participated.
