Governor performs Ganesh puja at Raj Bhavan

Hyderabad, Aug 22: Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan performed special

Ganesh puja on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi at Raj Bhavan, here on

Saturday.

The Governor along with her husband Dr. Soundararajan, a renowned

Nephrologist, offered special prayers at the tastefully decorated pandal

inside the iconic Darbar Hall of the Raj Bhavan. She offered sweets to the

Raj Bhavan officers and other staff members after the puja.

The Governor extended wishes to all the people of Telangana on the

auspicious occasion and prayed that Lord Ganesha, the remover of

obstacles, clear all the hurdles in the State and Nation’s peace, progress and

prosperity.

She appealed to the devotees to celebrate the Ganesh Navaratri in a safe

manner following Covid-19 preventive measures.

Governor Secretary K. Surendra Mohan and other senior officers and staff

members were present.
