 Panja Vaisshnav Tej’s second film Konda Polam directed by creative director Krish is getting ready for its theatrical release on October 8th. Promotions are in full swing for the film, that will feature Rakul Preet Singh playing the female lead, as the release date is not far away.


First look of the lead actors, followed by Obulamma song and most recently theatrical trailer have hiked prospects on the film. Today, the makers have come up with lyrical video of second single Shwaasalo.

It’s a MM Keeravani mark soulful romantic and mellifluous number. The ace composer has also penned lyrics for the film and his usage of words make this sound extra pleasant. The song indeed uplifts the beautiful romantic chemistry of Vaisshnav Tej and Rakul Preet Singh. Yamini Ghantasala and PVNS Rohit sung the song expressively. This is going to be another chartbuster song from the film.

Adapted from the novel written by Sannapureddy Venkata Rami Reddy, Konda Polam is produced by Saibabu Jagarlamudi, Rajeev Reddy under First Frame Entertainments and is presented by Bibo Srinivas. Gnana Shekar VS is the cinematographer.

Sharwanand, Siddharth, Ajay Bhupathi, AK Entertainments’ Maha Samudram Hey Thikamaka Modhale Song’s Lyrical Video Out





Sharwanand and Siddharth starrer intense love and action drama Maha Samudram is one of the most awaited movies. Directed by Ajay Bhupathi, the makers are increasing expectations on the movie with intriguing promotional content. Theatrical trailer of the movie was released recently to overwhelming response.


Music being scored by Chaitan Bharadwaj is one of the major attractions. His work for the trailer was appreciated by everyone and the previously released songs too got tremendous response. Today, they have launched lyrical video of third single Hey Thikamaka Modhale.

Interesting aspect is the song Hey Thikamaka Modhale narrates two beautiful love stories. Sharwanand-Anu Emmanuel and Siddharth-Aditi Rao Hydari are shown as love birds in the song. The chemistry of the lead pair is equally charming as the track.

Haricharan and Nutana Mohan have sung the number soulfully. Kittu Vissapragada wrote chaste Telugu lyrics and his choice of words is notable. On the whole, Hey Thikamaka Modhale is another chartbuster number from Maha Samudram.

Sunkara Ramabrahmam is producing the movie on Anil Sunkara’s AK Entertainments banner and Raj Thota is the cinematographer.

Alipiri Footpath Works Gets Ready for Devotees by This Brahmotsavams - TTD Eo








TTD Executive Officer Dr KS Jawahar Reddy has said that the roof slab renovation works of the Alipiri footpath taken up to facilitate the common devotees comfortable Yatra to Tirumala will be ready for use by the ensuing annual Srivari Brahmotsavams in October.

 

The EO who inspected the footpath works on Wednesday morning along with Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy said the footpath walking will now provide a rich experience to all devotees with several added amenities. He said TTD has taken up several development works on the footpath like greenery, sanitation, lighting etc. That will enhance the walkathon journey a memorable experience to the pedestrian pilgrim.

 

He later directed the engineering officials to remove the debris of concrete material lying at several spots on the footpath immediately.

 

Earlier the TTD EO also inspected the development works at Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple to Namala gopuram on the footpath route and made valuable suggestions to officials.

ri Rajesh Sharma took oath as Trust Board member of TTD Board on Tuesday in Tirumala temple.

 

The oath was administered by TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy at Bangaru Vakili.

 

After darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy, he was rendered Vedasirvachanam at Ranganayakula Mandapam by Vedic pundits. Later he was presented with Theertha Prasadams, a lamination photo of Srivaru and a coffee table book on Tirumala.

 

TTD Brinds Out Reader - Friendly Sri Mahaghagavatham

 TTD has published Sri Mahabaghavatam penned by Sri Bammera Pothana in reader-friendly simple prose form in eight volumes comprising of 12 skandas and costing 2700.

 

The epic literature is made available to all interested devotees at the TTD publication stalls in Tirumala, Tirupati and also at Tiruchanoor.

 

The holy book was drafted in simple Telugu by 33 pundits in 5696 pages with colourful illustrations by famed artist late Sri Bapu and is made available to readers in finely bound volumes.

 

The super edition could be procured by the devotees and institutions through posts, by sending a DD from any nationalized bank to “ EO, TTD, Tirupati “ with a covering letter addressed to “ OSD, publications wing, Press compound, KT Road, Tirupati". The devotees can procure the volumes on payment of additional charges towards the packing and postage (To Pay) system.



No Letters for Break Will be Entertained on October 4th - TTD


In connection with the annual brahmotsavams of Tirumala temple which are commencing from October 7 onwards, the temple cleansing fete, Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam will be observed on October 5.

 

In view of this fete which takes commences at 6am lasts till afternoon on October 5, TTD has cancelled VIP Break Darshan tickets. As such no letters will be entertained on October 4 for VIP Break Darshan on October 5.

 

The devotees are requested to make note of this change and co-operate with TTD management.

TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy on Tuesday evening released a book titled Sri Kaligiri Mahatyam.

 

This event took place in Sri Padmavathi Rest House at Tirupati. The book is about the significance of Sridevi Bhudevi Sameta Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy located in Kaligiri located between Penumuru and Puthalapattu mandals.

 

Sri B Munuswamy penned the book while Sri M Doraswami Naidu published the book.

 

TTD JEo At Women Training on Dry Flower Technology









TTD Joint Executive Officer (Education & Health) Sri Sada Bhargavi said that the women trainees are blessed to learn the making of products from used flowers in TTD-sub-temples.

 

She was addressing trainees at the Citrus Research Center of Dr YSR horticultural University, near Perur in Chittoor district. TTD has signed an MoU with the University last month to make portraits of gods, paperweights, and key chains with the dry flower technology imparted by the university.

 

Participating as chief guest the TTD JEO said there was a spontaneous and good response for the agarbattis made from used flowers of the TTD temples and was confident that the production of portraits and other products from used flowers will also become popular. She said local women are selected for the training program in view of their devotion to Sri Venkateswara.  

She reiterated that TTD is not engaged in the task for sake of revenue or enterprise but only with the sacred vision to present Swami Pushpa Prasadam to devotees. She said that TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy had conceived the program for benefit of devotees.

 

Dr Janakiraman, vice-chancellor of Dr YSR Horticultural University who participated in the program via virtual link said the MoU was aimed at taking endeavours of TTD to another level of a devotee-friendly environment. He said the enterprise of making useful goods from used flowers has the potential of becoming an industry soon.

Second Edition of Akhanda Balaknada Parayanam Held








The hill town of Tirumala reverberated to the rhythmic waves of the shlokas rendered from the second edition of Akhanda Balakanda Parayanam that was held with spiritual fervour at Nada Neerajanam platform in Tirumala on Tuesday. 

 

As part of its spiritual campaign to save humanity from pandemic Corona, TTD has been organizing Parayanams for the past one and a half years. The SVBC has provided the live telecast of the popular Parayanam from 7 am onwards for the benefit of the global devotees to beget the blessings of Sri Venkateswara.

 

On Tuesday, Parayanam of 142 Slokas from 3 to 7 Sargas from the Balakanda were recited under the supervision of the chief scholarly narrator Brahmasri Prava Ramakrishna Somayajulu who explained that Rama Nama Mantram is the best medicine to overcome all evils, ailments and difficulties by mankind. 

 

The event started with Dr K Vandana and her team singing Tyagaraja Keertana "Jagadananda Karaka" and concluded with Maharshi Vedavyasa penned Ramastakam. 

 

TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, National Sanskrit Varsity VC Sri Muralidhara Sharma and other Vedic pundits of TTD, Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham, SV Vedic University, National Sanskrit University, scholars etc. were also present.

Anand Deverakonda's "Pushpaka Vimanam" To Release In Theatres On 12th November


Anand Deverakonda's Pushpaka Vimanam is all set for theatrical

release. The makers have announced that the film will be releasing in
theatres on the 12th of this month. This is Anand's third film after
Dorasani, and Middle Class Melodies.

The film is directed by debutante Damodara and Tollywood heartthrob
Vijay Deverakonda is presenting it under 'King Of The Hill' banner.
Tanga Productions are co-producing the film. Govardhan Rao
Deverakonda, Pradeep Errabilli, and Vijay Dashi are producing the
film.

The director Damodara says Pushpaka Vimanam is a concept-based film.
"Anand plays a government school teacher in the film. It is a family
drama that deals with subtle nuances. The film s releasing on the 12th
of November," he concludes.

TTD has called for tender cum auction of 12 lots of used or partially damaged watches donated by devotees in hundis of Srivari temple at Tirumala and other TTD temples on September 30.

AP CM Invited for Annual Fete



The Honourable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy is invited for the annual brahmotsavams of Sri Venkateswara Swamy at Tirumala by TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy and EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy on Monday.

 

The duo have formally met the AP CM at his camp office in Tadepalle and presented him the Brahmotsavam Invitation, Theerthaprasadams of Srivaru and invited him for the nine-day mega festival which is scheduled between October 7 and 15 with Garuda Seva on October 11.

 

The Honourable Minister of Endowments Sri V Srinivasa Rao, Endowments Principal Secretary Smt Vani Mohan were also present.
