Koil Alwar Tirunmanjanam Held



The traditional Temple cleaning festival Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam was held with religious fervour in Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram on Thursday.

 

This event was held in collection with the annual Sakshatkara Vaibhavm which will commence on July 3 and concludes on July 5.

 

The entire Temple premises were cleaned with Parimalam-an aromatic mixture.

 

Special Grade Deputy EO Smt Varalakshmi, Superintendent Sri Chengalrayalu, Archakas and others participated in this unique cleansing fete.

Working Round The Clock To Provide Easy And Safe Darshan To Pilgrims -Eo TTD








TTD management with the co-operation of its strong workforce is working round the clock to ensure its visiting pilgrims with safe and easy darshan to the best possible extent, asserted TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.

 

Addressing the valedictory session of the two-day media workshop held at SVETA Bhavan in Tirupati on Tuesday the EO with the help of Power Point Presentation informed the media on the evolution of various types of darshan systems in the last several decades. He said in 1950s only 619 pilgrims used to have darshan on a day while it has increased to 3197 in the next decade and climbed to 9200 and odd in 1970s while reached a five-digit figure in 1980s and in 1990s the daily count stood at 32000 and doubled by next decade. When it was 70thousands on aggregate in 2011, the average footfall in 2019 recorded 75000.

 

TTD Management has been making plans accordingly from time to time to provide comfortable darshan by the way of introducing Laghu darshan, Maha Laghu Darshan, Sudarshan tokens, SED tickets, Divya Darshanam tokens, Sarva Darshanam Tokens, Slotted Sarva Darshan and Seeghra Darshanam, Nityakatla Sevas, the evolution of Arjitha Sevas etc. 

 

In spite of TTD doing unstinted efforts, while managing a whopping number of pilgrims, sometimes they are forced to face inconvenience. During such times, he urged the media persons to give ideas to TTD to overcome the issues instead of throwing mud on the management. 

 

Later the EO also briefed on the recent initiatives taken by TTD which includes development of State of Art SV Museum in Tirumala at Rs.100crores, 10-acre area to construct Srivari temple in Mumbai at Rs.70cr, Parakamani Hall at Rs.23crores (all on donation basis) soon.

 

Earlier, the JEO (H & E) Smt Sada Bhargavi narrated the recent achievements of Estates Wing and Education departments in TTD along with recent initiatives like Dry Flower Technology, Cleft Palate, Cochlear implantation in BIRRD, Paediatric Hospital, Cow initiatives etc. with Power Point Presentation.

 

Earlier, Annamacharya Project Director Dr A Vibhishana Sharma spoke on Venkateswa Vaibhavam.

 

At the beginning of the meeting Yoga Instructor Sri Pratap performed Yoga Asanas followed by Annamacharya Sankeertans by TTD Asthana Vidhwan Dr G Balakrishna Prasad.

 

Over 200 media persons from Print and Electronic media hailing from Tirupati and Tirumala participated in the workshop.

Applications Invited for Sri Venkateswara Traditional Scculpture College




TTD has invited applications from eligible students for Diploma, Certificate courses in ( traditional sculpture and kalamkari paintings) for the academic year  2022-23 at the SV  Traditional Institute of Traditional Sculpture and Architecture college.

 

Applications are available at the college from July 11-30 and completed applications should be submitted by July 30 evening at the college.

 

For all selected candidates for Diploma courses, TTD will deposit ₹1 lakh each in banks and is given to students after successfully completing the courses.

Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam on 30th June


Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam will be performed on June 30 in Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple in connection with the annual Sakshatkara Vaibhavam between July 3-5.

 

This fete will take place between 7:30 am and 11:30 am. After this devotees will be allowed for darshan.

Vignan Veechi Progarnme held in Vedic University







TTD JEO (H & E) Smt Sada Bhargavi called upon the Vedic fraternity to explore the unified field of all the laws of nature through the combined approaches of modern science and ancient Vedic science for the larger benefit of the society.

 

She was addressing the monthly Vignana Veechika programme being organised in SV Vedic University for the sake of the Vedic students to have an exposure on contemporary education in the varsity conference hall on Tuesday.

 

The JEO said, the idea has been mulled by TTD EO Sri A V Dharma Reddy to organize such programmes so as to make the public aware of the abundant knowledge embedded in Vedas which is also relevant to modern age sciences.

 

Speaker of the day, Sri Siva Raghuram from Germany briefed on Wheel technology. He said this was mentioned in 84th and 92nd shlokas of 300th page in Brihad Vimana Shastra by Sage Bharadwaja some thousands of years ago itself. He said he was surprised to see the foresight of our sages whose ideas are much advanced and beneficiary for the generations in the next two-three centuries.

 

Through PowerPoint Presentation he has explained the significance of wheel technology co-relating it to that of Rukuma Vimana and Shakuna Vimana explained by our sages. He said the wheel technology is environment - friendly for the people in future.

Governor highlights the need for intensified research in medicine









Hyderabad, June 28: Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan on Tuesday called upon the medical fraternity to intensify the research in the field for innovations.

She has also highlighted the need for more publications in the medical journals to share their research findings to spread the awareness and facilitate further advanced research.

The Governor was launching the Skill Lab and was releasing the medical research journal titled “Anusandhaan,” at the AIIMS, Bibinagar.

“Creating awareness about the research findings and helping to spread the awareness about the advanced medical treatment and procedures were vital,” she added.

Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan also underscored the importance of constantly honing the skills of the medical practitioners and hoped the setting up of a modern Skill Lab would go a long way in the skill development.

The Governor also stressed upon creating awareness among the people and the rural medical practitioners about the concepts like the zero hour or golden hour to save many precious lives in times of emergency.

The Governor lauded the initiative taken up by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in expanding the AIIMS and setting up new institutions across the country to offer affordable and accessible quality medical care to the needy in rural areas.

The Governor appreciated the efforts of the doctors, staff, and students of the AIIMS, Bibinagar, for their services during the COVID pandemic and for offering quality services to the patients.

“Government hospitals and the institutions need to offer the best possible quality medical care to the rural population and win their confidence,” she said.

Referring to the Ayushman Bharat medical insurance scheme being offered by the Central Government, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan stated that it had help lakhs of people to get the best possible medical help and have immensely benefited through it.

On the occasion, the Governor joined the staff and students in the tree plantation drive taken up at the AIIMS campus.

 TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam on Monday released the posters of the annual Sakshatkara Vaibhavotsavam fete at Sri Kalyana Venkateswara temple in Srinivasa Mangapuram.

 

On the occasion, the JEO said the annual three-day fete will be held between July 3 and 5.

 

Detailing the programs he said every day utsava idols of Swami and His consorts will be rendered Snapana Tirumanjanam everyday in the afternoon followed by Unjal seva in the evening and procession at night along the Mada streets.

 

About vahana sevas he said Pedda Sesha vahana will be held on July 3, Hanumanta vahana on July 4 and Garuda Vahana Seva on July 5.

 

PARUVETA UTSAVAM ON JULY 6

 

A grand Paruveta fete and a special Asthana will also be observed on July 6 at the Mandapam near Srivari Mettu.

 

Special Grade DyEO Smt Varalakshmi, temple chief Archaka Sri Balaji Rangacharyulu and others were present.

 



OUR PRIORITIES ARE TO PRESERVE HINDU SANATANA DHARMA AND SERVE DEVOTEES- EO

 TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy advocated that the priority areas of TTD is to preserve Vedic Dharma and to offer the best possible services to the multitude of visiting pilgrims.

 

Addressing the inaugural session of a two-day media workshop organised by TTD for representatives of both electronic and print media at SVETA Bhavan on Monday in Tirupati, the TTD EO said Tirumala is the spiritual capital of Hindus and hence it becomes the responsibility of the Media also to safeguard the interests and sentiments of the devotees.

 

He exhorted the media not to resort at heaping allegations and urged them to seek clarification from TTD whenever any allegations are hoisted on the religious institution before filing their final report. He said media should publicise criticism by vested interests only after assessing their validity and credibility.

 

He said more than TTD officials and employees, the media shoulders greater responsibility for enhancing the credibility of TTD and its programs in the realm of religion, health, education and philanthropy.

 

JEO Sri Veerabrahmam also spoke on the significance of Lord Venkateswara and said no one will be spared by Him if commits a mistake.

 

Highlights of CVSO speech were the significance of vigilance staff with 3019 personnel and its unique services during Covid-19 control , command control Center and future plans to TTD to make Tirumala as a safe and top Dharmic Center of the world.

 

All Projects Officer Sri Vijayasaradhi highlighted various strides of TTD in the propagation of Hindu Sanatana Dharma.

As a part of the ongoing Srinivasa Kalyanam in different cities of the United States of America, the NRI denizens were mesmerized by the divine charm of the deities during the celestial wedding ceremony.

 

Srinivasa Kalyanam was performed with religious fervour amidst chanting of vedic mantras in the city of Dallas during wee hours on Sunday as per Indian Standard Time.

Strive For NBA Recognition To SPW Polytechic - TTD JEo (H&E)




TTD JEO (H&E) Smt Sada Bhargavi on Saturday directed officials to expedite procedures to procure National Board of Accreditation recognition to the Sri Padmavati Women Polytechnic.

 

Addressing a review meeting with all TTD college principals and Head masters of schools at the conference hall of TTD administrative building on Saturday evening, the TTD JEO said since the NBA team was visiting the TTD educational institution in July last week the engineering and other department officials should speed up concerned works to enhance the basic amenities. 

 

She also gave valuable suggestions on improving the ambience of class rooms, hostel rooms, painting works, signages, IT class rooms, labs modernisation, greenery etc.

 

She said DyEO of Manuscripts wing Smt Vijayalakshmi and SVETA Director Smt Prashanti have been appointed as OSDs for overseeing works of Regular schools and Special Merit drive schools respectively.

 

Exhorting officials to improve quality of education in TTD educational institutions, she asked principals and head masters to interact with parents of students.

 

Among others she asked officials to prepare an action plan for annual academic year and strive to achieve good results collectively in coordination with students by improving quality of education.

Aranyakanda Parayanam Commences

 Shodasa Dinatmaka Aranyakanda Parayanam commenced in Vasanta Mandapam on Saturday in Tirumala.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham Principal Sri KSS Avadhani said, after Sundarakanda, Yuddhakanda, Balakanda, Ayodhyakanda, TTD has commenced Aranyakanda Parayanam which will last till July 10.

 

He said, simultaneously Japa, Tapa, Homam will also be performed for each shloka by Ritwiks at Dharmagiri.
