Australian Western University Team visits the PJTSAU

Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University, today signed an Memorandum of understanding  with Western Sydney University, (WSU) Australia, River bridge ventures India, for collaborative research in the areas of capacity building to the students and Faculty, Environmental Science, Agriculture Research and Climate Change.

            The team  led by Professor Barney Glover, Vice-Chancellor of Western Sydney University, Australia,  met  with Dr.V.Praveen Rao, Vice-Chancellor of PJTSAU, a programme organized at the conference  hall in the central library.  Dr.Praveen Rao explained to Australian Team about the cropping pattern of Telangana State,  and ongoing Teaching and Research activities in the university, he also said, the major challenges  and opportunities in the state of Telangana  in agriculture sector.  Dr.Rao put a proposal before the Western Sydney University Vice-chancellor to enhance the capacity building of the students and faculty members of the PJTSAU. The proposal was readily accepted by the Vice-chancellor, WSU,  and he shown keen interest to strengthen the relations with the PJTSAU which will help  both the universities to address the farmers problems.  The  River bridge ventures would coordinate  and plan the training programmes.

            The Tripatriate MoU was signed by the Dr. V.Praveen Rao, VC, PJTSAU, Professor Baney Glover, VC, WSU and  the representative of River Bridge Ventures in India.  The MoU will be enforced for three years. The delegates was present in the team are Associate Professor Linda Talor, Professor Athula Ginige,  Dr. Anton, Dr.Bahman Javadi, the representatives of  River Bridge Ventures are Vishnu Gorantla, Rambhoopal, Adarshmuri, Ishwaryaraju, Akshey Mandava and the university officers of PJTSAU were also present in the meeting.

Organise Ammavari Brahmotsavams on Par With Swamyvaru - TTD Eo






Tirupati, 8 November 2017: There should not be any compromise in tge arrangements for the ensuing Padmavathi Ammavari brahmotsavams at Tiruchanoor and it should be on par with Tirumala brahmotsavams, asserted TTD EO Sri A.K.Singhal.

During the review meeting in the meeting hall on Wednesday evening along with JEO Sri P Bhaskar, CVSO Sri A Ravikrishna, Tirupati Urban SP Sri Abhishek Mohanty, District JC Sri Nishant Kumar, the EO said, all the illumination works should be completed by November 13 while the rangoli works in next three days.

The EO said at present there are 42 cameras in and around the temple and it should be enhanced during the Navahnika Karthika Brahmotsavams. There should be special security and traffic arrangements on the day of Panchami Theertham", he said.

"All the vahana sevas should be live telecasted on SVBC and expert narrators should be selected to give narration on the importance of each vahana seva. All arjitha sevas are cancelled during these nine days", he maintained.

Tirumala JEo Inspects for Placement of Sarva Darshanam Counters

Tirumala, 8 November 2017: As the temple management has planned for time slot for sarva darshan (SD) pilgrims also, Tirumala JEO has inspected some places in Tirumala to set up SD counters along with Engineering officials.

The JEO inspected the area before PAC 2 Madhava Nilayam, Sannidhanam on Wednesday evening. He directed SE II Sri Ramachandra Reddy to set up as many counters as posaible at various places in Tirumala for the convenience of common pilgrims by first week of December.

Prepare Floor Cleaning and Bio Manures with Cow Products - TTD Eo




Tirupati, 8 November 2017: TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal on Wednesday directed the officials concerned to come out with an action plan to prepare farm friendly bio manure products out of Panchagavya.

A review meeting on SV Goshala was held in the chambers of TTD EO in administrative building in Tirupati on Wednesday evening. 

During the meeting the EO said there are many products including bio manures, floor cleaners are being prepared out of Desi Cow urine, dung etc. "We should come out with such products which are farmers' friendly. These products should be cost effective yet have a great benefit. Come out with a best plan of action", he reiterated.

Earlier, the Goshala Director Dr Harinath Reddy explained the EO on the activities of Gosamrakshana Trust and also the improvements taken in the recent times.

Kapilateertham Reverberates to Siva Namarachana

TIRUPATI, 8 November 2017:  The famous Lord Shiva shrine under the aegis of TTD, the Kapileswara Swamy temple, reverberated to the chant of "Siva Namarchana" on Wednesday as a part of "Laksha bilwarchana" conducted on the occasion of Karthika masa homam in the yagashala of the temple.

 

Earlier the day started with suprabhatam by 3am followed by Abhishekam by 3.30am, Archana by 5am, and the special ritual with one lakh Bilwa leaves which are considered to be highly sacred is carried out by the Saivagama Vedaparayanadars in the temple from 6am to 12 noon.

 

After the ritual, Maha Naivedyam has been rendered to the presiding deity followed by Swastirachanam and Deeparadhana. In the evening, the procession of utsava murthies took place between 6pm to 8pm.
