Suriya’s mother Lakshmi Sivakumar lit the traditional Kuthu Vizhakku. The shooting will be held for next 5 days in Chennai followed by 40-day schedule in Thenkasi. The occasion was found with the presence of Sivakumar, Karthi, Sayyeshaa, Sathyaraj, Ponvannan, Soori, Sriman, Maarimuthu, Bhanupriya, Rama, Mounika, Ilavarasu, Soundaraja, Cinematographer Velraj, filmmakers Monaj Kumar, Suseenthiran, Sudha Kongara, music director D Imman, 2D Entertainment Co-producer Rajashekar Pandian, producers SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu, Lakshmanan, Sakthi Films Sakthi and many others were present.

Two Movie Buffs Production Next Venture titled as "Daavu" starring Mr.Chandran Direction by Mr.Rambhala

Creative and catchy titles have their own way to attract the audience. When a director who is known for his unique sense of humour comes up with such an interesting title and team , most often than not it will turn out to be a solid entertainer.

Director Rambhala, fresh from the success of his ‘Dhillukku Dhuddu’ has earned a reputation of creating a humour wave that appeals to audience of all classes and ages. Rambhala now has joined hands with actor ‘Kayal’ Chandran for a movie titled ‘Daavu’ , an out and out romantic comedy. “ Chandran has got the charm that make the romantic angle of the film work to a massive level. He is focussed enough to make it big here in the industry. His hunger for success, blended with the vision of my producer Raghunathan P.S. will be a great support to make "Daavu" a lovable film. "Daavu" is an apt title for the film .A title that can be connected to the young audience who are the back bones of today's films. Like the title the film also will be a perfect toast to the audience" says Rambhala.

This movie will be produced by ‘Two Movie Buffs’

Raghunathan P.S. Munishkanth, Livingston, Urvasi and Manobala are playing important and interesting roles in ‘Daavu’. Santhosh Dayanidhi has been roped in to play the music, while Dipak Kumar Padhy will handle the camera and Praveen KL will take care of the editing of ‘Daavu’.
