International Children Film Festival IMAX - 09th Nov
Hyderabad: Persian film-maker and
director Soheil Movaffagh feels that the mindset and the desires of the
children across the world, irrespective of their culture, are the same.
"After closely watching the response of the kids in Hyderabad while
watching my movie i wish like making films in Indian languages too," the
Persian film-maker said here today.
Addressing media persons after
screening of his film "Chocolate" for the child delegates that is
selected for the ongoing International Children Film Festival, Soheil Movaffagh
termed the response as tremendous. 'The children received my film well,"
he added.
Stating that he has now decided to
make films in Indian languages and also for Iran's audience, particularly for
children, the Persian director explained the reasons that made him produce a
children film. "I have been working with the film industry in my country
from the age 13 and this has largely helped me produce a good film like
"Chocolate", he observed.
Admitting that making films with children is not an easy task for others 'but in my case it is different. I have been with the industry since my childhood and this made my job easy as to know how to move with them," he noted.
Observing that he will begin his Indian film sometime next year with the help of some Indian producers and stated that 90 per cent of his film will be made in India. "I will use the ongoing International Children's Film Festival platform to interact with my Indian counterparts so that the film will come out well," he said.
The children film producer strongly believes that kids should be given total freedom to express themselves. Profusely thanking the Telangana Government for making such elaborate arrangements for this international fest, he said that he liked the Indian culture and wanted to develop permanent relationship with the country.

Temple Peishkar Sri Ramesh, Bokkasam Clerk Sri Gururaja Rao, Parpatheyadar Sri Doraswamy Naik and others were present.
Thanks Giving Puja Offered to Dams
Tirumala, 9 November 2017: TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal along with Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju offered thanks to Goddess of Water, Ganga Devi on Thursday evening.
Speaking to media persons at Papavinasanam dam after offering Ganga Puja the EO said "thanks to the recent rains which filled all the dams in Tirumala almost full to their capacities. These waters will suffice the needs of the pilgrims for over 11 months and including Kalyani Dam it will last for 25 months ", EO added.
The EO said both Papavinasanam and Akasa Ganga dams have reached 100 percent levels while the Gogarbham dam filled upto 65 percent and KP dam 94 percent.
Earlier turmeric, vermilion, sare, flowers, fruits and coconuts were offered in the waters of all dams amidst chanting of vedic mantras by priests.

Best Possible Arrangements for Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Brahmotsavams- TTD JEo
Tiruchanur, 9 November 2017: TTD JEO Tirupati Sri Pola Bhaskar sought the police department of Tirupati to make best possible security arrangement by negotiating with TTD vigilance and security wing for the ensuing annual Karthika Brahmotsavams in Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temple at Tiruchanoor.
Earlier during the day the JEO along with CVSO Sri A Ravikrishna and Tirupati Urban SP Sri Abhishek Mohanty inspected the venue of Panchami Teertham dare procession from Urban Haat to temple.
Later the CVSO also said, there will be no compromise on security front during the annual fete. CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, Additional CVSO Sri Sivakumar Reddy were also present.
