TTD Chairman Takes Part in Navagraha Shanti Homam

Tirumala, 1 May 20: The Chairman of TTD Trust Board Sri YV Subba Reddy along with his spouse Smt YV Swarnalatha Reddy took part in the Navagraha Homam being conducted by the Vedic pundits of Sri Venkateswara Vedic Varsity in Tirupati on Friday.

It may be mentioned here that the University has been observing Japa and Homam since March 17, invoking the blessings of different deities to get rid of the dreadful Corona COVID 19 virus which is sabotaging the lives of human beings across the world.

After taking part in this fete, TTD Board Chief said, in view of ongoing crisis, TTD has been conducting various religious activities including Dhanwantari Japam, Dhanwantari Homam, Yogavashisthya Mantra Parayanam, various Japa and Homas at Tirumala and in Tirupati from the past one and a half months. "Our intention is to protect the entire man kind from evil effects of COVID 19", he added.

On his arrival, he was welcomed by the varsity VC Sri Sannidhanam Sudarshana Sharma. Later the Chairman couple took part in Kalasa Sthapana, Kalasa Puja, Ganapathi Puja, Sankalpa Puja, Agnipratistha and Purnahuti of Navagraha Shanti Homam.

Earlier the Chairman also visited Tirumala temple and Tiruchanoor temple. He also visited Archaka Bhavanam in Tirumala.
