Ankurarpanam of Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple Brahmotsavams Held
Tirupati, 27 May 20: TTD organised Ankurarpanam signalling the commencement of the nine day annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Govindarajaswami temple on Wednesday evening.
Ahead of the Ankurarpanam ritual other events like Senadhipati Utsavam and others held inside the corridors of the temple.
On May 28 Dwajarohanam will br observed in the Mithuna lagnam between 8.00am and 9.30am. Bhogi Teru will be held instead of Rathotsavam on June 4 .However, TTD has cancelled the Chakra Snanam event at Kapila Thirtam on June 5 in view of Covid-19 restrictions.
TTD has cancelled the vahana sevas on Mada streets held during both morning and evening in view of Corona virus lockdown procedures.
Special grade Dyeo Smt Varalakshmi, AEO Sri Ravi Kumar Reddy, superintendent Sri Rajkumar, chief Archaka and Kankana Bhattar Sri A P Srinivasa Dikshitulu and temple inspector Sri Krishnamurthy participated.
Endowments Commissioner Takes Oath as TTD Ex Officio
Tirumala, 27 May 2020: Sri P Arjun Rao AP Endowments Commissioner, took Oath as Ex-Officio member of the TTD Trust Board at Srivari temple in Tirumala on Wednesday.
He was administered oath by TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.
Later he was presented Srivari Theertha Prasadam amidst Veda Ashirvachanam by Vedic pundits of TTD at Ranganayakula Mandapam.
Speaking to media later Sri Arjun Rao said he is an ardent devotee of Lord Venkateswara and it is a privilege for him to get an opportunity to serve in his abode.
