Jyestabhishekam at Srivari Temple from 3rd to 6th June
Tirumala, 2 June 2020: TTD is organising a three-day holy annual festival of Jyeshtabhishekam from June 4-6 at Srivari temple as a part of Agama traditions in Jyesta masa and Jyesta Nakshatram.
In view of Coronavirus guidelines, the festival will be held in Ekantham at the Kalyan Mandapam inside the Sampangi Prakaram of Srivari temple.
As per the Agama pundits, the Abhidheyaka Abhisekam is performed to utsava idols after removing the gold/silver/diamond armours in order to retain the divinity of the idols.
On the first day, the golden cover is removed for performing Snapana Tirumanjanam and later Sri Malayappa Swamy is adorned with Ratna Kavacham.
Archakas say that pearl cover is adorned to utsava idols on the second day and on the third day on final day after Snapana Tirumanjanam, the idols are dressed in a gold cover which is not removed till the annual Jyestabhishekam next year.
Brahmotsavams of Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Temple Begins with Dwajarohanam
Appalayagunta, 2 June 2020: The annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy temple commenced with Dhwajarohanam on Tuesday.
The sacred Garuda flag was hoisted on the Dwajasthambham amidst chanting of Veda mantras and Mangala Vaidyams and later Asthanam was performed.
Speaking on the occasion the TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal said the annual Brahmotsavams from June 2-10 commenced as per Vaikhanasa Agama traditions but all vahana sevas remain cancelled this year in view of Coronavirus restrictions. However, there would be Tiruchi vahana seva daily in the morning and in the evening within the temple corridors.
Detailing the Brahmotsavam programs the TTD EO said Srivari Arjita Kalyanotsavam will be held on June 5 evening and on June 10 Chakra Snanam will be performed within temple premises in Gangalam.
TTD Dyeo of local temples Smt Jhansi Rani, Temple Chief Archaka Sri Surya Kumar Acharyulu, Kankana Bhattar Sri Tippayya Acharyulu and Superintendent Sri Gopalakrishna Reddy participated.
CM KCR Visited Raj Bhawan to Greet Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan on Her Birthday

Minister Sri K Chandrasekhar Rao has conveyed birthday wishes to Governor Dr
Tamilisai Soundarajan. The CM went to raj Bhavan on Tuesday morning and
presented a Bouquet to the Governor and conveyed wishes to her. He wished that
she should lead a healthy and long life. The Governor conveyed her wishes on
the occasion of the State formation day. She said she is happy that her birthday
and state’s formation day are on the same day. She said it was destiny that she
became Governor of a State, which was formed on June2, the day she was born.
On this occasion, issues pertaining to
the state formation came between the CM and the Governor. The Governor said
that after the movement for independence the country, movement for the
Telangana statehood would remain as the longest struggle in the country. The Cm
said that so many people have given their lives for the formation of Telangana
state. He said it was only after paying tributes to the martyrs, the state flag
is hoisted on the formation day. Along with the CM, Rajya Sabha Members Dr K
Keshav Rao, Sri KR Suresh Reddy, Government’s Chief Advisor Sri Rajiv Sharma,
Advisor Sri Anurag Sharma, Chief Secretary Sri Somesh Kumar, DGP Mahender
