Tirumala, 4 Jun. 20: The holy traditional three day ritual of Jyestabhisekam aimed at reviving the divine charm and vibrations of the Srivari and his consorts utsava idols commenced in the Srivari temple on Thursday morning in the Kalyana Mandapam of the sampangi prakaram. 

The ritwiks completed the kankana dharana after the snapana thirumanjanam rituals at the yagashala with Shanti Homam, shata kalasha Protista avahana, Nava kalasha avahana and kankana Pratista. 

Later in the evening the utsava idols of Lord Malayappaswamy and his consorts will be adorned with diamond kavacham.

Tirumala, 4 Jun. 20: TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy on Thursday said he prayed Lord Venkateswara to bestow His blessings on everyone and save humanity from the deadly pandemic of Corona COVID 19 virus.

Participating in the three-day ritual of Jyestabhisekam which commenced in Srivari temple on Thursday morning the TTD chairman told reporters who met him infront of Srivari temple, Srivari darshan will commence from June 8, Monday onwards on a trial basis.

He said elaborate arrangements have been made by authorities for darshan keeping in view COVID restrictions.

He said the sacred festival of Jyestabhisekam was held in Ekantham in the Jyesta masam this year in view of Covid-19 restrictions.

Actress Priyamani who played a key role in Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi starrer Virataparvam celebrates her birthday today. On the occasion, the makers have released her first look poster from the film.

Dressed in all black, Priyamani plays the role of Comrade Bharathakka in the film. She is all smiles while enjoying the beauty of the nature here. She looks apt in the role of a revolutionary leader.

Virataparvam is a unique and content driven film. The film will show the lead actors in never seen before roles. Except for last and small shooting schedule, entire filming is completed.

Needi Naadi Oke Katha fame Venu Udugula is directing Virataparvam while D Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas are bankrolling it.
