Darshan Tokes for Tirumala Locals on 9th June


Tirumala, 8 Jun. 20: As a part of trial run darshan mulled by TTD, the locals of Tirumala are allotted Darshan slot on June 10 for which the darshan tokens will be issued in Tirumala on June 9.

The locals shall procure darshan tokens in the 12 counters located at different places including five each at CRO General and Koustubham and two at RTC Bus Stand from 8 am onwards on June 9 till the quota of 6000 tickets exhaust.

TTD Chairman Inspects







Tirumala, 8 Jun. 20: The Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy along with TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy inspected Vaikuntham queue lines, Laddu Counters, inside temple along with senior officers to monitor the queue line movement at all places on Monday during the darshan slots for employees.

Meanwhile, every employee was checked at Alipiri checkpoint and made to undergo thermal screening and sanitization before they leave for Tirumala.

The Chairman inspected Annprasadam complex and instructed the concerned to erect Foot Operated Taps in Annaprasadam complex also akin to Tirumala temple.

CM KCR Review on SSC Examinations

has decided that all the 10th Class students will be promoted to the next class without any examination, as it would not be possible to conduct 10th standard examinations due to the spread of Corona virus in the State. The CM held a high-level review meeting on Monday at Pragathi Bhavan here on the conduct of SSC examinations at a time when the Corona Virus on the spread in the country and in the State. Education Minister Ms Sabita Indrareddy, Chief Secretary Sri Somesh Kumar, Special Chief Secretary (Education) Ms Chitra Ramachandran, CMO Principal Secretary Sri S Narsing Rao, Board of Secondary Education Director Sri Satynarayan Reddy, CMO Special Secretary Sri Rajsekhar, OSD Sri Deshapathy Srinivas, Secretary Sri Bhoopal Reddy, and others participated in the meeting.

        There are 5,34,903 Class 10th  students in the State. There are six subjects and 11 papers. Of this, three examinations pertaining to two subjects have already been conducted. At that time, the examinations were postponed due to the High Court Orders. The CM held the review meeting on Monday to take a decision on the examinations postponed. In the meeting, methods adopted in this regard in other states have also been examined. The matter on what should be done in Telangana state was also discussed at length. Then the method to be implemented in the Telangana State was finalised.

        The CM decided that all the 10th class students would be promoted to the next class by giving grades to them based on their internal assessment marks. The government also decided to take a decision on the degree/Post Graduate Courses examinations based on the situation that will prevail in future.

Darshan Trail Runs for Pilgrim Crowd Management Assesment - TTD Chairman














Tirumala, 8 Jun. 20: The trial run of Srivari Darshan for employees on June 8 and 9 and Tirumala locals on June 10, is mulled to assess how many devotees could be accommodated in the queues as per rigid Covid-19 guidelines of the state and central governments, said TTD Trust Board Chairman Sri Y V Subba Reddy.
 
The Chairman physically supervised the trial run of darshan allotted for TTD employees and their families at the Srivari temple on Monday morning and made some suggestions to, officials on observing social distancing in Queue lines, visiting Hundi to make offerings and using non-alcoholic sanitizers.

Speaking to reporters outside the temple, the TTD chairman said though it was planned for 500 devotees for darshan per hour, nearly 1200 devotees had darshan in the first two hours observing all guidelines of social distancing etc. "After careful observing the movement for three days, TTD will take a call on the need to increase the issue of a number of tickets in future", he added.

He said the devotees are advised to not touch the temple walls or the grills and special arrangements made to ensure that they do not touch even the water taps. TTD has placed Foot Operated taps inside the temple. "TTD will resume prasadam only after approval from the government", he maintained. 

He said instructions have been issued that laddu counters will operate for every two hours alternatively and they too will be sanitized every two hours along with temple and queue complex. TTD staff working in close distance with devotees have been given special PPE kits.

Darshan Begins in TTD Local Temples - TTD EO















Tirupati, 8 Jun. 20: Devotees expressed their profound satisfaction on a darshan of Sri Padmavati Ammavaru at Tiruchnoor as the darshan is reopened after a gap of over two and a half months, said TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal.

TTD EO along with Tirupati JEO Sri P Basant Kumar inspected the arrangements at Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple and Sri Govindarajaswami temple on Monday.

Speaking to media at Tiruchanoor, the EO said that TTD had closed darshan at Srivari temple on March 20 itself through the corona lockdown came into force from March 25 onwards.

Denying the false reports in social media that Srivari temple was closed and no kainkaryams were performed, he said that only darshan for devotees was suspended but all daily kaikaryas continued non-stop till date.

He said in the backdrop of relaxation of lockdown from June 8, the government had approved the commencement of Srivari Darshanam in Tirumala. The TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy and senior officials after extensive deliberations framed guidelines for Srivari darshan as per government restrictions in addition to suggestions by devotees through emails etc.

He said in an experimental way on Monday and Tuesday, TTD employees and their families are allotted darshan following norms of with social distancing of two meters distance and darshan is planned for 6000 devotees in 12 hours at the rate of 500 per hour.

The TTD EO said special care is taken to organise social distancing at all TTD local temples including Tiruchanoor, Srinivasa Mangapuram, Appalayagunta, Kapilatheertham and Sri Govinda Raja Swamy temple which opened up for darshan on Monday with stringent COVID guidelines. 

EO said, Tickets could be procured either online, through SMS or the counters set at the temple premises. As per government guidelines, 250 devotees are being allowed for darshan per hour.
At all temples, no Thirtham and Shatari will be given. As per government guidelines all devotees are should wear masks and sanitizers and all queue lines are sanitized every two hours, he added.

He also checked the sanitizers placed at different points in Sri Govinda Raja Swamy temple. TTD Additional CVSO Sri Siva Kumar Reddy, Special Grade Dyeo Smt Varalakshmi were also present.
