Hon’ble Governor stresses the need for enhanced employment sources in Universities







Hon’ble Governor Dr.Tamilisai Soundararajan on Monday lauded the Mahatma Gandhi University as the University is educating the rural downtrodden students. She advised the University Officials and faculty to know their strengths and weaknesses in the first instance and they shall try to make way for increase the strengths and gradually decreasing the weaknesses.
During the review meeting of the Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda through Video conference with the Registrar and other functionaries from Raj Bhavan, she stated that the students should enjoy their presence in the University, educate themselves properly, the faculty and officials should ensure employment to the students through their qualitative education, which ultimately lead to the student’s empowerment.  Thus she stressed upon imparting the principle of 4 Es, Enjoy, Educate, Employ and Empower.
The Governor stressed the need for Alumni Association for the University, and advised the Registrar to contact all students so that even a single former student from the University is left untouched.  She stated that the alumni are the gems of your University, who can help the University financially, teach the students and also guide them to get better employment.  While referring to the complaints of certain students, she advised the officials and administration of the University that they should not be callous and should react to all the complaints immediately.
The Governor expressed her displeasure on the ranking of the University and encouraged the officials that the University should develop, quantity wise. It should march ahead of all State Universities.
While referring to the request of the students for postponement of the exams during the period of Covid-19 pandemic, she stated that safety of students is the foremost important.  Though the officials take utmost care while conducting exams, the chance of contracting Covid-19 will be there for students during their travel to exam centres and during the meeting with their Co-students before and after exams.  Therefore, she opined that either the exams are to be postponed for post covid period or to be cancelled.
Referring to the employment generation by the Universities, the Governor advised the functionaries of the Mahatma Gandhi University to obtain the information of industries in and around their University and gain their confidence to give merit students to work in the industries / organisations, which will help most of the students.

TTD Staff and Family Tested Corona Negative



Tirupati, 15 Jun. 20: Following a TTD staff working at Sri Govindarajaswami temple recently, all of his family members and other TTD employees working along with him were also subjected to elaborate testing.

The testing for 32 persons in all was performed in the presence of Tirupati JEO Sri P Basant kumar  and TTD Additional Health officer Sri Sunil.

After the detail testing at the Alipiri Corona testing centre it was found that all of them tested Negative for Corona.

Tirumala Temple Opens by 2.30 PM on June 21st Following Solar Eclipse


Tirumala, 15 Jun. 20: The Tirumala temple will be opened on June 21 by 2.30pm following Solar Eclipse. The eclipse occurs between 10:18am and 1:38pm.

After the closure of the temple doors with Ekanta Seva on June 20 by 8:30pm, the temple doors will be reopened on June 21 by 2:30pm and Suddhi, Punyahavachanam, Tomala, Koluvu, Panchanga Sravanam at Bangaru Vakili. 

After that first Archana, first Bell, Bali, Saattumora, second Archana, second Bell will be observed in Ekantham till 6pm. Later night Kainkaryams follows from 7am onwards and Ekanta Seva is performed at 8:30pm. 

TTD has dispensed with darshan for pilgrims on June 21 following Surya Grahanam. Kalyanotsava Seva also remains cancelled. 

Due to solar eclipse, there will be no distribution of Annaprasadam at Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasadam Complex. Devotees are requested to make note of this and plan their pilgrimage accordingly.

World Premiere of Bhanumathi Ramakrishna on July 3



The much-awaited romance drama, Bhanumathi Ramakrishna - the trailer of which has created quite a buzz in recent times - is set to have its World Premiere on July 3.

Starring Salony Luthra and Naveen Chandra in the leads role of the titular characters Bhanumathi and Ramakrishna, the film tells a coming-of-age story of an unlikely couple that finds love in their 30s. The fresh narrative by director Srikanth Nagothi and the striking visuals by Sai Prakash Ummadisingu will surely be a highlight of the film that has music composed by Sravan Bharadwaj. Popular young filmmaker Ravikanth Perepu has edited the film that has BGM by Achu Rajamani.

Leading Telugu film producer from Geetha Arts, Allu Arvind, released the film's poster and expressed excitement about the interesting concept and engaging narrative of Bhanumathi Ramakrishna. "While watching the film, it felt like I am seeing a really cute love story after a long time! It was interesting to watch a matured love story of a guy and a girl in their 30s, a concept we don't often see on screen," he stated talking about the film that releases First On aha.

Produced by Yashwanth Mulukutla's Krishiv Productions banner, the film is presented by Sharrath Marar of Northstar Entertainment. It is set to have its World Premiere on aha!
