Vasantha Panchami Saraswathi Pooja To Enhance Wisdom Among Children - TTD Chairman
Nellore, 16 February 2021: Propagation of Hindu Sanatana Dharma in a big way to enhance traditional values especially among youth and children is the chief motto of TTD, said TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy.
Speaking on the occasion of Vasantha Panchami Saraswati Puja observed in a big manner at the spacious AC Subba Reddy stadium in Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore District on Tuesday evening the TTD Chairman highlighted other dharmic activities taken by TTD during last one year with SVBC channel as medium of Sanatana Dharma propagation, like Karthika masa, Dhanurmasa festivities, Parayanams, homams, Gudiko Gomata program etc.
He said people participated in huge number at festivals organised by TTD in in all these festivities with utmost devotion and hailed the spiritual programs live telecasted on SVBC.
He said, TTD is now organising the Sri Panchami or Vasantha Panchami to seek blessings of Goddess Saraswati on all youth and students to prosper in their career.
Simhapuri Caught in the Divine Vibes of Vasantha Panchami
Nellore, 16 February 2021: The entire environs of the spacious AC Subba Reddy Stadium is filled with the soothing divine breeze of rhythmic Mantras, Soulful Veena Nadam and eye catching dance performance on Monday evening as a part of the Vasanta Panchami Saraswati Puja organised by TTD.
The spiritual event mulled seeking the blessings of goddess Saraswati upon the children to bring up their educational career back on track which has suffered last year due to Covid Pandemic.
Earlier, a replica of Goddess Saraswathi seated elegantly on Hamasa Vahana was arranged on the stage. Special Saraswathi Puja chanting the divine names of Goddess of Wisdom were rendered by Vedic scholars was observed with religious fervour to the Saraswatiroopa Kalasam under the supervision of Chief Archakas of Tirumala temple Sri Venugopala Deekshitulu and Sri Krishna Seshachala Deekshitulu.
This was followed by melodious Veena rendition buy renowned Veena Maestro Sri Vadali Venkata Ramana and his disciples on 16 stringed instruments (veena) as Shodasopa (16) Nivedana to Goddess Saraswathi.
Later the students of TTD-run SV College of Music and Dance performed Nritya Nivedana on Brahma Krita Saraswathi Shloka which enthralled the devotees.
The two and a half hours programme concluded with the devotees lighting ghee lamps on the auspicious day of Magha Panchami chanting Govinda Namas invoking the blessings of Gnana Swarupini Saraswathi.
The Honourable DyCM Sri Narayana Swamy, MP Sri Vemireddi Prabhakar Reddy, TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy, EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy, Board member Smt Prasanthi Reddy, Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy and other city elite were also present.
Among others, SVVU VC Sri Sudarshana Sharma, Tirumala temple OSD Sri Seshadri, SV Higher Vedic Studies OSD Dr A Vibhishana Sharma, Vedic Scholar Sri Rani Sadasivamurty, Veda pundits from TTD, SV Vedic Varsity, Archakas were also present.
The programme concluded in a ceremonious manner with Nakshatra Harati, Kumbha Harati and Harati Nivedana rendered to Goddess Saraswathi.
