Vice Prez Welcomed
Tirumala, 4 Mar. 21: The Honourable Vice President of India Sri M Venkaiah Naidu who is on his two-day visit to Tirumala reached Sri Padmavathi Rest House on Thursday evening at 5:15pm.
On his arrival, he was received by DyCM Sri Narayanaswamy, TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy, Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti. District Collector Sri Harinarayanan, Tirupati Urban SP Sri Venkatappala Naidu, RDO Sri Kanakanarasa Reddy were also present.
Yoga Narasimham Rides Simha Vahanam
Tirupati, 4 Mar. 21: Lord Kalyana Venkateswara as Yoga Narasimha blessed devotees on the ferocious Simha Vahanam on Thursday morning, as part of the ongoing annual brahmotsavams at Srinivasa Mangapuram on the third day morning.
DyEO Smt Shanti, AEO Sri Dhananjeyulu, Superintendents Sri Ramanaiah, Sri Chengalrayulu were also present in this vahana seva which was observed in Ekantam due to COVID restrictions.
Sri Kapileswara Swamy Vari Temple Dhwajarohnam Performed
Tirupati, 4 Mar. 21: The annual brahmotsavams at Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple commenced with Dhwajarohanam in the auspicious Meena Lagnam at 7:34am on Thursday in Tirupati.
The Nandeeswara Dhwajapatham was earlier offered special pujas and Abhishekam was performed to Dhwajasthambham followed by Deeparadhana amidst chanting of Chaturvedas.
TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy, temple Dy EO Sri Subramanyam and other staffs participated.
In view of Covid, the Brahmotsava Vahana Sevas will be performed in Ekantam.
Covid Vaccination for TTD Employees Begins
Tirumala, 4 Mar. 21: Under the directions of TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy, TTD has commenced Covid vaccination for its employees at Tirumala on Thursday.
Initially, the employees who are discharging duties at pilgrim proximity areas including Srivari temple, Reception, Waterworks, Health wing and Vigilance wing will be administered vaccine jabs. The District Health Department had provided 50 vials of vaccine, which is adequate to serve 550 persons.
In the second phase, those who have crossed 45 years of age and suffering from Hypertension, Diabetes and other chronic diseases will be administered the vaccine.
All employees wanting vaccination should register themselves at the Aswini hospital with their Aadhaar or PAN cards and also sign on consent letters. After the first dose of vaccination, the second dose will be served after 28 days.
All hospital staff including doctors, nurses, and para medics were served Covid vaccines on Thursday morning. Aswini Medical Superintendent Dr Kusuma Kumari and other hospital staffs were present.
