Lord Kodandarama Rides Hanumatha Vahanam

 





Tirupati, 7 Mar. 21: Sri Kalyana Venkateshwara Swamy in Sri Kodandarama alankaram seated majestically on Hanumanta vahana on the sixth day of ongoing annual Brahmotsavams at Srinivasa Mangapuram held in Ekantham due to Covid guidelines.

 

Legends say that Hanuman is an icon of devotional bliss and symbolically stood for pure devotion, complete surrender and absence of ego. 

 

In the place of Vasanthotsavam and Swarna Ratham, Tiruchi and Gaja vahana Seva will be observed in the evening.

 

DyEO Smt Shanti, AEO Sri Dhananjeyulu, Superintendents Sri Ramanaiah, Sri Chengalrayulu participated.

Sri Kapileswara Rides Makara Vahana

 


Tirupati, 7 Mar. 21: Sri Kamakshi sameta Sri Kapileswara Swamy took a celestial ride on Makara Vahana on Sunday as part of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavam held in Ekantham due to Covid guidelines in Tirupati.

 

Makara, a vahana of Goddess Gangadevi, is being hailed in legends as an embodiment of nature's life.

Kalyana Venkanna Rides on Gaja Vahanam

 






Srinivasa mangapuram, 07 March 2021: On the sixth day of the annual brahmotsavam at Srinivasa Mangapuram on Sunday evening Sri Kalyana Venkateswara took a celestial ride on Gaja vahanam.

 

Legends hail Gaja, elephant as a symbol of wealth and prosperity. In the guise of Rajadhiraja the processional deity blessed His devotees.

TTD Employees Display Skills in Annual Sports

 





Tirupati, 07 March 2021: TTD employees displayed their skills at the annual sports meet on TTD parade grounds and SV Arts College grounds on Sunday.

 

The 45+ and below group women employees triumphed in singles and doubles of Ball badminton and throw ball events.

 

Similarly in the volleyball event under ex service Men category, they thrilled the audience with their throws and running stamina.

TTD Eo Presents Pattu Vastram to Srisailam Mallanna

 





Tirumala, 07 March 2021 : TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy on Sunday evening presented Pattu Vastrams to Sri Braharamba sameta Mallikarjuna Swamy at Srisailam on the occasion of annual Shivaratri Brahmotsavams.

 

TTD EO along with his spouse made the presentation of Pattu vastrams as part of tradition to make offerings on behalf of TTD.

 

The EO couple were received with temple honours by Archakas, Local MLA Sri Shilpa Chakrapani and AEO Sri Haridasu.

 

Along with EO, Tirumala temple OSD Sri Pala Sheshadri was present.

 

Smt Swarnalata Subba Reddy, spouse of TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy also present.

 

They had Darshan and were also presented Thirtha Prasadam.They also participated in the evening Mayura Vahana seva .

 

TTD to support Srisailam temple development: TTD EO 

 

Speaking later the TTD EO said TTD is ready to provide all support for development of Srisailam temple. After consultations with temple EO, plan of action for development activities like repairs to pilgrims rest house will be taken up.

Lord Kapileswara Rides on Sesha Vahanam

 





Tirupati, 07 March 2021: On the day-4 of the annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Kapileswara temple, Kamakshi sameta Sri Kapileswara Swami rode on Sesha Vahana in Ekantham in view of the Covid guidelines.

 

Legends say that the entire Seshachala is a transformation of hoods of Adisesha, the chariot and seat of Maha Vishnu.

 

DyEO Sri Subramaniam, Superintendent Sri Bhupathi, Inspectors SriReddy Sekhar and Sri Srinivasa Nayak and others were present.
