Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple Ankurarpana Held







Tirupati, 12 Mar. 21: Ankurarpanam for Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple  annual brahmotsavam held at the temple premises on Friday evening in Tirupati. 

 

 This event took place in ekantam in view of covid-19 between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. As part of it Senapati utsavam, Mritsangrahanam, Medini Pooja were held. 

 

On Saturday Dhwajarohanam will be observed between 8am and 8:10am in the auspicious Mesha Lagnam.

TTD Chairman Visits SVIMS

 Tirupati, 12 Mar. 21: TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy along with EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy paved a visit to SVIMS Super Speciality Hospital where the vedic students who tested positive for undergoing treatment on Friday evening. 

 

Later speaking to media persons he said all the students and a faculty who tested positive for safe and asymptomatic.

 

He said TTD is taking all Medicare for its students and assured parents not to worry about their health safety.  "Today I also inspected Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham at Tirumala and verified the facilities to students. Also made some instructions about COVID safety measures", he maintained. 

 










Co-Ordinated Action by SVBC and Products for Extended Dharmic Campaign - TTD Addl Eo



Tirupati, 12 Mar. 21: All the Dharmic Projects of TTD and SVBC should coordinate their activities for extended Hindu Sanatana Dharma propagation, said TTD Additional Executive Officer, Sri AV Dharma Reddy.

 

Chairing the first review meeting of the activities of all Dharmic Projects of TTD and SVBC at the SVBC new building office he said the maiden meeting was after he assumed charges as In charge of all projects of TTD in addition to MD of SVBC.

 

The Additional EO said the Dharmic projects should take up extended campaigns by coordinating efforts with the SVBC and also the projects in vice Versa popularise the SVBC programs.

 

He said the SVBC was already operating Telugu and Tamil Channels and soon to launch the Kannada and Hindi channels.

 

He said the Alwar Divya Prabandha Project should support the Tamil channel, while the Dasa Sahitya Project would provide material to the Kannada channel and the National Sanskrit University to the Hindi channel.

 

In the district level dharmic programs, the HDPP staff, TTD Kalyana Mandapam managers and local supporters from Mutts, Peethams, like-minded dharmic institutions, and Gow Sanghas, ISCKON, Srivari Sevakulu and Bhajan Mandal members should support all these activities.

 

He said on the basis of monthly programs of the Dharmic Projects, a future action plan has to be drawn up and every month he will review the progress of the activities of all projects and SVBC.

TTD Chirman Visits Dharmagiri Veda Patashala








Tirumala, 12 Mar. 21: TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy on Friday reiterated that none of the students of Veda Pathashala who are kept under observation in SVIMS hospital showed any symptoms of Corona and TTD is providing all Medicare to them.

 

The Chairman who made a spot inspection of all wings of Dharmagiri Veda Pathashala on Friday reassured parents of students that none of the students presently at the Pathashala had any Covid symptoms and that TTD is taking all precautions and effective measures to ensure health safety of all.

 

He interacted with faculty of the Pathashala on the reasons for the incident and later he said although 57 students and one teacher had tested Covid-19 positive, all of them are asymptomatic.

 

The Chairman went around the dining hall kitchens, hostel rooms and class rooms at Pathashala and directed officials to accommodate only four students in each room.

 

He directed the estate officer Sri Vijaysaradhi to provide more rooms in the Pathashala if necessary and also keep masks, sanitizers etc. readily available.

 

The Chairman also instructed Pathashala officials and faculty to observe mask wearing for all mandatory, social distancing, keep toilets and bathrooms clean and also seat students 2 meters apart in dining hall and also locate a doctor and medical staff at Dharmagiri on 24x7 basis till situation normalises.

 

TTD Health Officer Dr RR Reddy, Chief Medical Officer Dr Narmada, Veda Pathashala Principal Sri KSS Avadhani were present.

 

Shiva Rides Purushamriga Vahanam




Tirupati, 12 Mar. 21: Sri Somaskandamurty took celestial ride on Purushamriga Vahana as part of ongoing annual brahmotsavams in the temple on Friday.

 

Due to Covid restrictions, TTD has been conducting these brahmotsavams in Ekantam.

Governor exhorts IAS officer trainees to connect with the people






Hyderabad, March 12: Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan on Friday advised the young IAS officer trainees to connect more with the people.

“It is important to travel and approach people and know about the issues that concern them. We must be accessible to the common people,” she said.

The Governor was interacting with the IAS officer trainees of the 2019 batch, who were allotted to the Telangana State, at the Raj Bhavan, here.

She exhorted them to be honest, committed, dedicated, and straight forward in the discharge of their duties. “There will be challenges of all sorts, but be committed and dedicated to the cause of the public good,” she added.

Describing the adoration for the IAS officers, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan said that they would be worshipped by the people for their good work.

“Be innovative, go out and make your own mark, and make a difference in the lives of the people wherever you work,” the Governor added.

She congratulated the IAS officer trainees on being allotted to the young State of Telangana, where she said they would have lot of scope to be innovative and contribute for the development of the new State.

MCRHRDI director general Mr Harpreet Singh, special chief secretary to Government, accompanied the trainee officers.

The IAS officer trainees, who interacted with the Governor, included Ankit, Chitra Mishra, Deepak Tewari, Garima Agarwal, Hemant Keshav Patil, K Varun Reddy, Pratima Singh, and Rizwan Basha Shaik.

Secretary to Governor K. Surendra Mohan elaborated on the functions of the Governor and the Raj Bhavan to the officer trainees.

 

Raj Bhavan must set an example in public service: Governor

Hyderabad, March 12: Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan on Friday stated that Raj Bhavan must evolve as a role model Raj Bhavan in the country in the field of public service.

She said that our Raj Bhavan must set an example in the country through the pro-active approach in the service of the people of the State.

“We must achieve great things with unity and turn our Raj Bhavan into a role model for the rest of the country,” she said.

The Governor was speaking at the grand felicitation function, organised by the Raj Bhavan pariwar, in connection with the Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan receiving the Top-20 Global Women of Excellence-2021 Award recently awarded by the US-based Multi Ethnic Advisory Task Force.

“I consider that the happiness on the faces of the people who we serve is the true award for our services. My motivation is always to do something good for the people,” she added.

The Governor stated that nothing gives her more satisfaction than the public service and working for the needy and underprivileged sections. “Ultimately affection of the people around us and happiness of the people whom we serve what matters more,” she added.

Secretary to Governor K. Surendra Mohan, Joint Secretary and other senior officers and staff members spoke on the occasion. Advisors to the Governor were among those who were present at the felicitation.
