Vontiimitta Brahmotsavam's from 21st April to 29th April
TIRUPATI, 16 MARCH 2021: The annual brahmotsavams of Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple at Vontimitta in YSR Kadapa district will be observed between April 21 to 29.
With the intervention of TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy who had written a letter to the Government stating the key role played by the TTD employees during the Corona crisis and rendered services to pilgrims as front warriors. The Covid vaccination programming commenced for its employees at Tirumala and Tirupati in TTD on March 5.
On Tuesday, TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, Srivari temple Chief Priest Sri Venugopala Deekshitulu also underwent Covid vaccination at Tirumala. The Additional EO called upon the employees to have vaccination, as it is completely safe.
In the ongoing first phase, the employees who crossed 45 years and those with comorbidities are being rendered vaccination and in the last so far 302 employees underwent vaccination in TTD Central Hospital while 710 employees at Aswini Hospital in Tirumala till date.
Health Officer Dr RR Reddy, Chief Medical Officer Dr Narmada, Central Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Kusuma, Aswini Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Kusuma Kumari are supervising the vaccination programming for the employees at Tirumala and in Tirupati.
The officers of Bihar Finance Service
met the Chief Secretary Sri Somesh Kumar IAS at BRKR Bhavan today. On the occasion, the Chief Secretary
explained about the implementation of GST in Telangana state. He acknowledged that under the able guidance
of the Honourable Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekar Rao, the state has
achieved rapid progress in increasing the tax base which has resulted in the
doubling of the commercial tax revenues over the last five years.
Rationalization and reorganization of the
department was done twice in 2018 and 2020.
Economic intelligence unit was created to conduct research and analysis
into specific sectors of economy and identify potential revenue areas, he
added. Use of technology, Apps and data
analytics and a paradigm shift in the Commercial Tax administration in the
state from individual based to system driven tax administration has helped the
state achieve tremendous success in tax revenue realization.

General MCRHRD Sri Harpreet Singh, Commissioner Commercial Tax Smt Neetu Prasad and other officials attended
the meeting.
In view of Covid, the annual brahmotsavams in this ancient temple are taking place in Ekantam.
