TTD Eo Meets Visakha Seer

 



Tirupati, 20 Mar. 21: TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy formally met Visakha Sarada Peetham Seer Sri Sri Sri Swaroopanandendra Saraswathi at the latter's ashram at Vizag on Saturday and received his blessings. 

 

The Seer asked EO to ensure that Kalyanamastu Mass marriages program mulled by TTD reach the poor living in remote areas. 

 

He also suggested EO to speed up construction of temples in SC, ST, BC and fishermen colonies.

 

TTD Addl EO Visited Mantralaya to Presenet Pattu Vastra

 

Tirumala, 20 Mar. 21: TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy on Saturday visited Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt at Mantralayam in Kurnool district.

 

As part of the tradition in vogue since 2006, he presented Pattu vastram to the temple on the occasion of the 399th Coronation Ceremony of Sri Guru Raghavendra Swami on behalf of the Srivari temple.

Tirumala, 20 Mar. 21: His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Keshavanidhi Theertha Swamiji, Sri Padarajamutt, Mulbagal visited Sri Vari Temple, Tirumala on Saturday morning. Education is crucial for women empowerment: Governor

 

Hyderabad, March 20: Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan on Saturday said that education is vital for women empowerment.

She stated that Education, Employeement, Entrepreneurship and self confidence would contribute for the empowerment of women. 

The Governor was virtually addressing the “Women Power Talk” programme organised by the State of Bank of India as part of the International Women’s Day Celebrations.

“The willpower of the women will help them overcome the obstacles and hurdles in their path,” she added.

Elaborating on the achievements of women, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan said that now women pilots are flying fighter jet, guarding our borders, and are excelling as astronauts.

“Fearing of obstacles, women should not desist from pursuing their dreams to make it big in life,” she added.

The Governor lauded the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for assigning key portfolios like Finance, External Affairs, and Defence to women ministers and thus shattering the tradition of restricting women minsters only to portfolios like Women and Child Development.

She lauded that women medicos are now opting for specialisations like Surgery, Cardiology, Nephrology, and Orthopaedics.

Many women officers of various ranks of the State Bank of India took part in the virtual Power Talk Programme.

Wall Poster Cinema’s ‘HIT 2’ Starring Adivi Sesh Launched

 












To encourage new talent and concepts, Natural star Nani has ventured into production with Wall Poster Cinema banner. Along with Prashanti Tipirneni, their first production was ‘AWE’ and it won critical reception. The second outing ‘HIT’ was a thriller and it enthralled the audiences.


Now a second installment to ‘HIT’ is getting ready. On Saturday ‘HIT 2’ was formally launched. The title carries the tagline ‘The Second Case’ and will be directed by Dr. Sailesh Kolanu.

Nani clapped the sound board for the first scene shot on Adivi Sesh and then handed over the script to director Sailesh. Produceer Prashanti switched on the camera.

With ‘Kshanam’ ‘Goodachari’ and ‘Evaru’ Adivi Sesh earned a special recognition and his next is a pan India film titled ‘Major’ which is based on a real hero. Yet again Sesh has opted for a different subject in the form of ‘HIT 2’ and the regular shooting of the film will commence soon.

HIT is defined as Homicide Investigation Team and Sesh is playing the role of Krishna Dev. He will be investigating a mystery that takes place in Andhra Pradesh.

S Manikandan will handle the cinematography for this film John Steward Eduri will compose music.

Drishyam2` gives me a good recognition in Telugu

 


Actress Suja Varunee became the talk of the town after her stint with the popular reality show, Bigg Boss. She was also a part of many critically-acclaimed films including Sasikumar's Kidaari, Iravukku Aayiram Kangal and Arun Vijay's Kuttram 23 in which she garnered good response for her performance. Now, it looks like, the actress is on cloud nine as she has bagged the most-prestigious Drushyam 2, the Telugu remake of blockbuster Malayalam film, Drishyam 2.


An excited Suja Varunee says, “I have watched the first part of Drishyam in all languages and also the second part in Malayalam on OTT.. I was amazed at how the director was able to conceive such a script and was wondering why I didn't get such scripts to perform. It was a dream come true for me when I was approached to be part of the Telugu remake of the movie and that too for a reputed production house.”

She adds, “I am extremely happy to be sharing screen space with the Venkatesh sir, Meena maam, Nadhiya maam and many other senior artistes in Telugu industry as I will get to learn a lot from them. Also, working with Jeethu Joseph sir is a gift of sorts. He is very cool as a director and at the same time knows what to get from his actors. To me, everyday is a learning and Drishyam 2 came at the right time."

Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the Telugu version of Drishyam 2 was launched in Hyderabad on March 1. The first part of the Telugu remake, featuring Venkatesh Daggubati, Meena and Nadhiya, released in 2014. The film was directed by Sripriya and it did well at the box office. 

Suja's presence in Drishyam 2 remake will be one of the highlights.

Mohanlal's Drishyam 2 released on Amazon Prime Video on February 19 and it has been garnering great response from both audience as well as critics.
