TTD Invites Applications for First Phase Kalyanamastu on 28th May
Tirupati, 26 Mar. 21: As part of its agenda to promote Sanatana Hindu Dharma, TTD has decided to revive the Kalyanamastu (community wedding ceremony for the poor) program.
TTD is contemplating to conduct the program on a big scale at present in all 13 district headquarters of AP and has invited applications from interested unmarried youth wanting to participate in the Sri Kalyanamastu program during the first phase which is scheduled on May 28.
Model applications can be downloaded from the TTD website www.tirumala.org or can be procured from the HDPP program assistants of the respective Districts.
The completely filled applications with all details should be submitted before April 25 at the office of Srivari Kalyana Mandapams in the district headquarters of each district in AP.
TTD Appeals to Srivani Donors
Tirumala, 25 Mar. 21:TTD on Thursday has issued fresh instructions to donors of Srivani trust to further facilitate the devotees with regard to break Darshan etc.
Firstly TTD said that devotees cannot change the name of donors to the Srivani trust first registered and that any request for name change will not be accepted at all.
Secondly, donors of Srivari trust could avail break Darshan facility only once in a year.
TTD has appealed to donors for the trust and cooperate with the TTD in serving devotees more efficiently hereafter.
Artists Invited to Perform at Nada Neerajanam
Tirumala, 25 Mar. 21:TTD’s Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad on Thursday has called for applications from artists to perform at Nada Neeranjanam platform.
TTD has invited artists (not more than 10 per day) to perform at the platform in front of the Srivari temple during Stotra Parayanams of Vishnu Sahasra Nama parayanams from morning 09.00 am-1.00 pm in the afternoon.
Artists with skills in Music, dance, instrumental music- violin, flute, Veena, Nadaswaram, mridangamgam, Dolu, and Ghatam and others and ready to perform at the platform free of cost, should apply.
TTD agenda is to promote cultural programs and also artists. Artists with certificates in Music (degree/ Visharada/ Pravina/ PG/ Diploma) certificates could apply and TTD will provide them an opportunity on par with their skills and certificates.
The selected artists would be provided free accommodation, food and Srivari Darshan.
The applicants should mention“ for Nada Neeranjanam platform “ on cover their applications and send it to “ The Secretary, HDPP, SVETA Bhavan, Tirupati-517502.
Ugadi Celebrations at Mahati Auditorium on 13th April
Tirupati 25 March 2021: Under the joint supervision of HDPP and the Welfare department TTD is organising the Sri Sharvari Nama Samvatsaram Ugadi celebrations on April13 at the Mahati auditorium in full adherence to COVID-19 guidelines.
Prominent scholar Sri Bala Subramaniam Shastri will render the Panchanga Sravanam in the celebrations which begin at 09;30 hours.
Thereafter TTD employees children will be presented prizes for their performances at the dress competitions which will be followed by cultural programs.
The festive highlight of Ugadi Pachadi distribution will also be held later on.
Krishna Swamy Rides on 2nd Day of Float Festival

irumala, 25 Mar. 21: On 2nd day of ongoing annual float festival of Srivari temple, utsava idols of Sri Rukmini sameta Sri Krishna Swamy varu took the majestic float ride on Swami Pushkarini in total adherence to COVID-19 guidelines.
The float festival was a cynosure to eyes of devotees as the utsava idols after procession boarded the float and went three rounds. The Veda Gosha by pundits, Mangala vadyam and sankeertans by the artists of the Annamacharya project enthralled the devotees.
Tirumala pontiff Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyarswamy, TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy, Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, TTD board members Sri Chippagiri Prasad, Sri DP Ananta, CE Sri Ramesh Reddy, Srivari temple DyEO Sri Harindranath were present.

Dr.Rajasekhar's 'Marmaanuvu' with director Venkatesh Maha announced
Pegasus Cine Corp LLP and Mahayana Motion Pictures have come together to produce a movie with Angry Star Rajasekhar as the hero. The critically-acclaimed director Venkatesh Maha of 'Care Of Kancharapalem' and 'Uma Maheshwara Ugra Roopasya' fame is going to wield the megaphone. Shivani and Shivathmika, the daughters of Rajasekhar, have teamed up with Vijaya Praveena Paruchuri to produce the movie.
Speaking about the project, director Venkatesh Maha, who celebrates his birthday today (March 25), said that the title of the film is 'Marmaanuvu'. The makers said that Maha's story is superb. "The title is perfect. The story and screenplay are exciting. Our film is going to captivate audiences from various languages. Rajasekhar garu's character is going to be very novel. We will announce the names of the rest of the cast and crew soon," Shivani, Shivathmika and Vijaya Praveena Paruchuri said.
