Speaking on the 130th Birth Anniversary Celebration of Dr BR Ambedkar held at Mahati Auditorium under the aegis of Welfare Department of TTD on Wednesday at Tirupati, EO said the think tank of Dr Ambedkar which he professed almost over a century ago has relevance even today.

Earlier, Sri Colonel S Gagarin, Chief Commercial Manager of Indian Railways Traffic Service in his speech said Dr Ambedkar preached one human being should learn to respect another and this is what is taught in all Vedas, Upanishads, Bhavat Gita and religious books also. "Saint Annamacharya also advocated social equality some five centuries ago in his Sankeertans''.
He gave an enlightening speech by quoting a few shlokas from Bhagavat Gita in a melodious manner.
Later prizes were distributed to winners in competitions held for the occasion. Earlier the programme commenced by offering floral tributes to the photo of Dr BR Ambedkar. Dance ballet "Namo Namo Bharatambe" remained special attraction.
JEO Smt Sada Bhargavi presented Vote of thanks. PRO Dr T Ravi, Welfare Officer Sri Anandaraju, SC ST Liaison Officer Smt Varalakshmi, BC Liaison Officer Dr Bharat Gupta were also present.
TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy, EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy released these books at Ranganayakula Mandapam.
Speaking on the occasion they said the Coffee Table book gives a broad view of Tirumala temple and TTD activities while the five other spiritual books written by Vedic exponents about the importance of Vaikhanasa Agama and their respective subjects.
Later they felicitated all the authors. JEO Smt Sada Bhargavi, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti, PRO Dr T Ravi were also present.
TTD brought out a Coffee Table Book titled, "Tirumala-Kaliyuga Vaikuntham" consisting a kaleidoscope of interesting legends of the presiding deity of Tirumala temple, the art and architecutre of the shrine, unique administrative style of TTD and amenities provided to scores of pilgrims presented along with a compilation of vibrant photos penned by Smt and Sri Ramanam couple from Sri Rangapattinam.
The authors expressed immense pleasure over the release of the book and described as a token to Srinivasa from Sri Ranganatha.
Besides, five books including Vaikhanasa Mahima Manjari, Uttama Brahma Vidya Sara, Sri Vaikhanasopakhyanam, Trisati, and Dhyana Mukthavali of TTD publications were also released on the occasion.
Scholars Dr Vedantam Vishnubhattacharyulu, Sri Srinivasulu, Publications Spl. Officer Sri Ramaraju, Sub Editor Sri Narasimhacharyulu were also present.

Speaking during the occasion Sri Rajagopalan expressed his confidence that Plavanama Ugadi will bring prosperity and health in the lives of humanity across the world.
While renowned veteran scholar Sri Gopavajjhala Balasubrahmanya Shastry rendered Panchanga Sravanam.
Later prizes were distributed to winners in Ugadi competitions to employees. The program concluded with the distribution of Ugadi Pacchadi.
