Shodashadina Sundarakanda Akhanda Parayanams from 3rd to 18th May

 

 Tirumala, 28 Apr. 21: TTD is organising Shodashadina Sundarakanda Akhanda Parayanams once again from May 3-18 seeking relief for humanity from the pandemic Corona 2.0. 

 

The parayanams conducted as part of TTD’s spiritual Campaign with Diksha’s and Japa Yajnam will be held daily morning at the Vasantha Mandapam in Tirumala and 16 Veda Pundits will perform the parayanams.

 

Similarly, another team of 16 Veda and Vaikhanasa Agama pundits will conduct Homas, Japam and Tarpanams at the Dharmagiri SV Veda vijnan peetham thrice a day -morning, afternoon and evening.

 

Legends say that such Shodashadina parayanams will beget good results and health for humanity on a war footing. Vedic pundits say that Sundarakanda is a Garland of divine words and its purpose is to deliver the universe from the pandemic through its chanting for 16 days in a phased manner focusing on each word from specific shlokas of each sarga in the holy aksharamala.

 

Hence TTD took up the divine task of Sundarakanda parayanams after the spikes in the second wave of the pandemic.

 

Earlier in the Corona 1.0 season TTD took up Sundarakanda, Virat parvam, Bhagavadgita, Veda Parayanams besides Yogasista visuchika nivararana mantram, Dhanvanthri Maha mantram parayanams at the Nada Niranjanam platform during 2020 .It is popularly regarded that all the yagas, parayanams and Japam conducted by TTD had brought huge succour from Corona to humanity till now,

 

However many unhealthy lapses in the public domain like not observing masks, not keeping social distancing and failure to observe all health safety guidelines has led to a revival of the Corona pandemic with several mutations.

 

The Shodashadina Sundarakanda Akhanda Parayanams will be telecast live by the SVBC for benefit of devotees across the globe.

 

Kodandarama in Kaliamardhana Alankaram

 








Vontimitta, 28 April 2021: Lord Kodandarama shined in Kaliamardana alankaram on the eighth day of the ongoing annual Sri Ramanavami Brahmotsavam of Vontimetta Sri Kodandaramaswami temple.

 

The divine Vahana Seva was held on Wednesday morning in ekantham in view of Covid guidelines.

 

Thereafter the majestic Snapana thirumanjanam was performed to the utsava idols of Sri Sita Lakshmana sameta Sri Kodandaramaswami followed by visesha abhisekam.

 

 Temple AEO Sri Muralidhar, Superintendent Sri Venkateshaiah, inspectors  Sri Dhananjayulu, Sri Giribabu, archakas and other staff were present.

 

CHAKRASNANAM ON APRIL 29:

 

On Thursday, April 29, TTD is organising a grand chakrasnanam in ekantham inside the temple in the morning and  Dwajavarohanam at night after 07.30 pm heralding the successful conclusion of Sri Ramanavami Brahmotsavam.

 

PUSHPA YAGAM ON APRIL 30

 

On Friday, April 30, TTD is conducting a grand Pushpa yagam at Vontimetta temple to ward off all lapses by devotees or archakas, if any, that likely occurred during the annual Brahmotsavam events. 

Lord Kodandarama Rides Aswa Vahanam

 




Vontimitta, 28, April 2021: Lord Kodandarama shined aloft Aswa vahana on the eighth day of the ongoing annual Sri Ramanavami Brahmotsavam of Vontimetta Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple held in ekantham on Wednesday night in view of Covid guidelines.

 

Upanishads describe all five elements of life as Horses and that almighty was their creator. With the ride on Horse, Sri Kodandarama indicated that his Darshan and sankeetans removed all Kali Doshas of devotees.

Edhureetha Censor completed, film to release soon

 





 Edhureetha ' stars Sravan Raghavendra, who has acted in films such as 'Sye', 'Dookudu', 'Srimantudu', 'Bindaas', 'Magadheera' and 'Ek Niranjan', as the hero. Starring Malayalam actress Leona Lishoy as the heroine, the film is produced by Bogari Lakshmi Narayanan and Bogari Eshwar Charan of Sri Bhagyalakshmi Entertainments. Directed by Balamurugan, it has completed its Censor formalities. The film is gearing up for a release soon.


Speaking about the movie, producer Eshwar Charan said, "A 40-year-old single, middle-class father loves his only son so much that he gives whatever he asks of him. What problems does his love lead to? That is the emotional core of ' Edhureetha  '. We are happy that Censor formalities have been completed. Songs will be released soon, and the film will come out before the audience."

Sitarama Kalyanam at Chandragiri Sri Kodandarama Swamy Vari Temple

 



Tirupati, 27 Apr. 21:As part of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavam at Chandragiri Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple TTD organised Sri Sitarama kalyanam on Tuesday as ekantha vahana seva in view of Covid guidelines.

 

The majestic event was traditionally observed with all divine rituals which commenced at 10.00am and continued till late afternoon.

 

Thereafter in the evening, Tiruchi with utsava idols of Sita Rama Asthana was conducted in place of Garuda Vahana Seva.

 

DyEO Sri Subramaniam, Superintendent Sri Kumar, Kankana bhattar Sri Srinivasa Bhattar, Temple inspector Sri Krishna Chaitanya, other archakas and staff were present.

Ponnakalva Utsava at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple

 







Tirupati, 27 Apr. 21: On the occasion of Chitra pournami festivities on Tuesday, the TTD organised the Ponca Kalva Utsavam at Sri Govindarajaswamy temple in ekantham due to Covid-19 guidelines

 

As part of celebrations, Snapana thirumanjanam was performed for utsava idols of Sri Govindarajaswami and his consorts, Sri Krishna, Sri Andal and Viswaksena. Thereafter the archakas observed alankaram and sattumora and paraded the idols in the temple prakaram.

 

Special grade DyEO Sri Rajendrudu, AEO Sri Ravi Kumar Reddy, Superintendent Sri Venkatadri, Inspector Sri Munindrababu, Sri Kamaraj, archakas and staff were present.
