"Battala Ramaswamy Biopikku' an exclusive & direct-to-digital release on ZEE5 to stream from May 14th

 

Hyderabad, 6th May 2021: Leading OTT platform ZEE5 has been constantly bringing out direct-to-digital releases, original web series, and new movies to cater to its patrons. In 2020, it released 'Amrutha Ramam' directly on digital platform. Then came '47 Days' and 'Meka Suri', besides several other web series and movies on Zee 5. This year, 'Battala Ramaswamy Biopikku' is getting ready to be streamed on ZEE5. It's a direct-to-digital release. 'Room No. 54' is ZEE5's other major release this month. ZEE5 is kickstarting this year with these two-original content-driven products







Altaf Hassan, Shanthi Rao, Satvika Jay, and Lavanya Reddy are headlining 'Battala Ramaswamy Biopikku'. The new-age comedy entertainer will stream on ZEE5 from May 14. Writer-director Ram Narayan and Seven Hills Productions's I Satish Kumar and Mango Media's Ramakrishna Veerapaneni today said that they are happy that 'Battala Ramaswamy Biopikku' is going to be released directly and stream on ZEE5.

Coming to the story of 'Battala Ramaswamy Biopikku', it's about Ramaswamy, whose has two major ambitions in his life. One is that he wants to practise monogamy and wants to be like Lord Rama. The other one is that he wants to shine in the business of selling sarees. As he wished, He falls in love with Jayaprada, who is a vendor, and marries her. But later, due to some unforeseen circumstances, he ties the knot with two other women. How did Ramaswamy, who has always wanted to marry only one woman, ended up marrying three? What followed next? That is what the comedy is all about.

The film's teaser begins with a character saying that every life is worthy of a biopic. The titular role has been played by Altaf Hassan. Music for the movie is by RP Patnaik.

On Zee 5,'Battala Ramaswamy Biopikku' will release on May 14th and Room No 54 On May 21st.  All are aware that Salman Khan-starrer 'Radhe' (Hindi) will stream on ZeePlex from May 13th.

Ram alladi a new York based Telugu film maker bags best director award at the prestigious "Dadasahebphalke film festival"

 




New York based filmmaker, Ram Alladi, has once again taken a trophy and had a film placed in selection at major film events. Alladi has been recognised for its latest picture, Ra’s Metanoia, with the Best Director award at the Dad Saheb Phalke film festival, as well as having the film listed in the best short film category in the upcoming ReelHeART International Film and Screenplay festival in Toronto. Previously gaining plaudits for his documentary, Chiseled, Alladi has now collected over a dozen awards for Ra’s Metanoia, an exploration of the life of Mahatma Gandhi with lovingly shot period detail and a unique spin, nodding as much towards quantum physics as metaphysics. Released in November 2020, the film has already been recognised by both the European and New York Cinematography Awards, as well as London’s Gold Movie Awards, Venice Shorts, JellyFilm Fest, Los Angeles and the Amsterdam World International Film Festival and has won trophies for best biographical film and best screenplay at the Oniros Film Awards in New York, best visual effects and best short film at the Cult Critic Movie Awards and best editing best score and best short film at Virgin Spring Cinefest. 


The latest award comes from the “Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival - 2021”, which is now in its tenth year and is India’s only independent film festival, celebrating the work of young, old, aspiring and established filmmakers alike. Held on 30th April, it honours the father of Indian cinema, Shri. Dundiraj Govind Phalke, who was born that day in 1870, but takes submissions from filmmakers from India and over 110 nations from across the world. Alladi acknowledges that to receive a mention as best director by this festival, in the same breath as Shri. Dundiraj Govind Phalke, is about as high praise as it is possible to receive. 


The prize-winning film itself weaves a deep, reflective narrative by using dialogues between Gandhi and his contemporaries which demonstrate both the depth of his philosophical perspective and how much it permeated his life. From something as simple as an observation of how the saffron of an evening sky is Gandhi’s favorite color (“not without the other two.” he answers, neatly demonstrating the importance of unity to the new nation) to Gandhi’s first encounter with the writing of John Ruskin, which transformed his sense of what it meant for a man to live a good and meaningful life.

Chief Secretary inspected the new ward which been made ready for Covid patients in Library building with 160 additional beds. It will be started shortly.

Chief Secretary visited the triage facility, Later the Chief Secretary interacted with the doctors and staff. He congratulated and thanked the doctors for their Yeomen service.

He also inspected the new oxygen Generation plant which has been started today with 4 MT per day which will be able to cater around 400 patients.

 Chief Secretary saw the works taken up on cleaning, sanitation, street lighting, oxygen pipeline works taken up to provide better facilities to the patients. He directed to complete the works at once.

Sundeep Kishan, VI Anand, Rajesh Danda’s SK28 Announced

 



Sundeep Kishan is making sure every new film of him is dissimilar from his previous ones in terms of story and genre. Likewise, his 28th film is going to be a different attempt.


Known for his impeccable acting prowess, Sundeep Kishan will collaborate with director VI Anand with whom he previously worked for a critically acclaimed film Tiger. Sundeep won praises for his power-packed show in Tiger, while VI Anand too received accolades for coming up with a distinctive concept and is today identified as one of the most promising & original filmmaker’s in TFI  

The actor-director duo will be teaming up after six years for SK28 and the announcement is enough to garner buzz. The film has been announced today on the occasion of hero Sundeep Kishan’s birthday.

The announcement poster looks intriguing as Sundeep Kishan gazes into an isolated mysterious location.

Billed to be a super natural fantasy, director VI Anand who is acknowledged for his unique scripts has readied an interesting story for Sundeep Kishan.

Rajesh Danda will produce the film under Hasya Movies, while Balaji Gutta is the co-producer.

The film’s shoot begins when its safe. The other cast and crew of SK28 will be announced later.

Aditya Om Plays A Temple Priest In Dahnam

 



Aditya Om will soon be seen in a Telugu film titled 'Dahnam' where he played the role of a temple priest who tries to save his temple from the forces of influential businessmen.


Dahnam is a period film set in 1980s. Aditya Om went through a total transformation to look the part and even learned long Sanskrit shlokas and all the priestly rituals. The trailer and first look of Dahnam will be out soon.

Shot entirely in Visakhapatnam and surrounding areas and on specially constructed sets, Dahnam hopes to recreate the magic of K Vishwanath and Bapu gaaru films.

Written and directed by Adari Murthy Sai, Dr P.Satish Kumar and Dr R Balarama Sai are jointly producing the film on Open Field Media banner. Producer Dr P.Satish Kumar is also scoring music for Dahanam.

FM Babai and Santhi Chandra are the other prominent cast of the film.
