Intriguing suspense thriller Play Back on aha from May 21

One of the most intriguing thrillers to have released in 2021, Play Back, starring Dinesh Tej, Vakeel Saab-fame actress Ananya Nagalla and late actor-journalist Thummala Narasimha Reddy (a.k.a TNR) in lead roles, is making its way to 100% Telugu streaming platform aha on May 21. Directed by Jakka Hari Prasad, the riveting thriller revolving around a strange telephonic conversation between a crime reporter Karthik (from 2019) and another young girl Sujatha (from 1993), spans across multiple timelines and is filled with delectable twists and turns.

The film is a fine showcase of TNR as a performer, who made a mark in a negative role in what was one of his last few on-screen appearances. K Bujji’s slick cinematography and composer Kamran’s gripping score lend immense appeal to Play Back on the technical front. Play Back earned many positive responses from critics and audiences upon its theatrical release earlier this year and the OTT premiere on aha provides a fine opportunity for the film to reach a wider audience across the globe.

Play Back is set to be a welcome addition to a flurry of blockbuster films, originals and shows that have streamed on aha in 2021, namely Krack, Naandhi, Gaali Sampath, 11th Hour, Thank You Brother, Mail and Sulthan. The streaming platform has stayed true to its word of providing house-full entertainment to film buffs at the convenience of their homes. This summer, keep calm and trust aha to fulfil your appetite for entertainment.
