TTD To Arrange 22 German Sheds for Covid Victims in Andhra Pradesh




Tirupati, 13 May 2021: TTD plans to build 22 sheds with German technology in Andhra Pradesh at a cost of Rs.3.52 crore for providing beds to Covid victims after successful experiment in the pilgrim city at Sri Padmavati Covid hospital,

 

Following requests for similar oxygen bed facilities on the Tirupati model the TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy has on Thursday sanctioned the said amount from the SV Sarva Shreya Nidhi to build such Tents with German technology in different places in AP.   Each shed will have 30 beds facility.

 

As per schedule: 4 at Visakhapatnam, 3 each in Anantapur, Guntur, Kakinada and Krishna, 2 each in Prakasam, Kurnool and 2 other locations such sheds will be built. District collectors will be provided funds as per the cost estimates made by TTD for each shed.

 

Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam held at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple





Tirupati, 13 May 2021: TTD organised the traditional ritual of Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam at the Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple on Thursday morning, ahead of the ensuing annual Brahmotsavam from May 18- 26.

 

The nine-day festival will be held in Ekantha in view of the Covid guidelines.

 

The sacred event of cleansing the temple from top to bottom including the vimana and the sanctum was done from morning 08.30-10.30 am with desi herbs, perfumed water and desi detergents.   Thereafter Sarva Darshan was allowed.

 

Special grade DyEO Sri Rajendrudu, AEO Sri Ravi Kumar Reddy, Chief Priest Sri Srinivasa Dikshitulu, Temple Inspectors Sri Kamaraj and Sri Munindrababu, Temple staff and Archakas were present.

Governor calls for more isolation centres to reduce the load on healthcare system









  Launches the Isolation Centre for Raj Bhavan Pariwar

·         Calls upon residential societies to have their own isolation centres

·         COVID-appropriate behaviour will contain the spread

 

Hyderabad, May 13: Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan on Thursday called upon the residential welfare societies and colonies to have their own isolation centres to help the infected in their areas to get safely isolated.

“The healthcare system is already overburdened and patients with serious complications need to get priority in hospitalization. The community isolation centres will help safely isolate those with minor ailments or asymptomatic. They serve like micro containment zones,” she said.

“In majority of the cases, it is very difficult to have safe isolation facilities at home and other family members too are at risk of getting infected. In such cases, apartment-wise and area-wise isolation centres will be very useful,” she added.

Expressing concern at the heavy workload and stress being experienced by the doctors and other healthcare workers, the Governor called upon the people to strictly adhere to the COVID-appropriate behaviour and contain the spread of the pandemic.

Dr.  Tamilisai Soundararajan was inaugurating the Isolation Centre for Raj Bhavan pariwar at the Samskruthi, the Raj Bhavan Community Hall, here.

The centre was established in association with the Art of Living Foundation’s support organization, the International Association of  Human Values.

It will have 10 beds and the inmates will be provided with food, medicines, and other medical support.

The Governor thanked the Art of Living foundation chief Sri Sri Ravi Shankar for supporting the initiative of the Raj Bhavan.

Governor’s husband, noted Nephrologist, Dr P. Soundararajan said that it was every citizen’s duty to follow the preventive norms and reduce the burden on the already overburdened healthcare system and the frontline warriors.

Hyderabad City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar, Cyberabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjannar, Advisors to the Governor APVN Sharma and Mohanty, International Association of Human Values Projects Director Vishal Arya were among others who spoke on the occasion, while Secretary to Governor K. Surendra Mohan coordinated the event.

 

Jaya Mantra Echos at Vasantha Mandapam




Tirumala, 13 May 2021: On the 11th day of the ongoing Shodasha Dina Sundarakanda Diksha organised by the TTD for the well-being of humanity, the Jaya mantra parayanam resounded at the Vasantha Mandapam, Tirumala on Thursday morning.

 

The Vedic pundits of TTD performed the parayanam of 278 shlokas of 38- 45 sargas of holy Sundarakanda beginning with the ‘ Da ‘word followed up with Sri Rama Prarthana, Sri Anjaneya Prarthana and Sri Valmik Prarthana. On Friday the pundits will chant 178 shlokas of 48-50 sargas.

 

Principal of Dharmagiri Veda Pathashala Sri KSS Avadhani highlighted the significance of today’s shlokas as a narrative of the Anjaneya battle at Ashoka Vana at Sri Lanka after meeting Sitadevi. 

 

The Diksha parayanams were live telecast by SVBC daily from 8.30 am onwards for benefit of Srivari devotees across the globe.

 

TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy and his spouse, SVBC CEO Sri Suresh Kumar, Health Officer Sri RR Reddy, OSD of Sri Venkateswara higher Vedic studies institute Dr Akella Vibhishana Sharma and others were present.

Ekantha Brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara Swamy Vari Temple - New Delhi



Tirupati, 12 May 2021: TTD is organising the annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Venkateshwara temple, New Delhi from May23-31 in Ekantha as per Covid guidelines and Ankurarpanam fete on May 22.

 

As per traditions, TTD will conduct the holier event of Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam (temple cleansing ceremony) on May 18 and Dwajarohanam on May 23 morning 07.00-8.00 a, on Vrushabha lagnam. All Ekantha vahana sevas will be held in the morning and evenings inside temple premises and on June 1st evening the Pushpa yagam festival will be conducted.

Change Dates Option of Special Srivari Darshan Tickets


Tirumala, 12 May 2021: In the pandemic Covid spike environment across the country, the TTD has given an opinion to devotees holding the online special Srivari Darshan ticket from April21-May 31 to change date according to their convenience.

 

In a statement on Wednesday, the TTD said that however the option of a change of date is allowed only once and that too within December 2021.

 

 TTD appealed to devotees to make note of the changes and that the decision was initiated in the interests of devotees welfare.
